An alumna of Lady Irwin College, Delhi University, Ms. Rupa Chauhan has done her specialization in Child Development (Honours), B.Ed. and has a Master’s degree in English and Zoology. She has over 22 years of experience in teaching science and English at primary and secondary level. Having dealt with children in the age group of 3 to 14 years in reputed academic institutes across the country enables her to understand their multifaceted needs in the school environment. She has been actively involved in introducing the latest trends in pre-primary curriculum in nursery schools. Moreover having held portfolios of academic and co-curricular coordinator, examinations in charge has strengthened her capability to execute delivery of curriculum catering to child-centric needs.
As the Initial School Principal at Scottish High, she is actively involved in implementing the Primary Years Programme for initial years. Mrs. Chauhan is also the Programme Leader and Chief Trainer for the Cambridge International Examinations for Teacher’s and Trainers (Diploma and Certificate) course. Being the Management Representative for ISO, she monitors the ISO 29990 standard for Learning Services Management along with the standards of Quality, Environment (ISO 1400), Health and Safety (ISO 1800) that school is committed to. She is also the Lead Auditor for ISO 9001: Quality Services Management.
