Dear Parents
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the school has taken numerous precautions to evade any incidents. One of these is to cancel the “At Home” Orientation program initially scheduled on Saturday 28th March 2020 for all the new parents.
As per Government orders, all schools are shut till 31st March 2020. Consequently, the academic session is now planned to commence on 1st April 2020. However, any change in circumstance or advisory, the same will be intimated to you closer to the date. On commencement of the new academic session the school timings are:
Pre-Nursery to KG: 08:00am—1:00pm
Grade I and above: 08:00am — 4:00pm
Reporting time is 07:50am
Mentioned below are few important personal pointers that will help you in the smooth transitioning of your ward into the new academic session at Scottish High International School.
Books and Stationery Deposit: The books and stationery kit has already been procured by you. Parents are requested to please label all the notebooks & stationery. The duly labeled books and stationery kit can be deposited in the school on the first day of the new academic session. In case you have not procured the books & stationary yet, the school will guide you on the new procurement dates once the session begins.
Identity Cards: The temporary I-cards can be collected from the respective HRT/s on the first day of the new academic session.
Transport: For those children availing transportation, buses will be plying both ways from the first day of school. The respective route in-charges will call you to inform you about the timings and stops before the commencement of the academic session on the mobile numbers registered by you.

Apart from the above, In case you still have any clarifications request you to kindly go through the school diary (ERIC-Easy to Remember Incase Consulted) to familiarize yourself with all the school rules and regulations.
It is pertinent to mention that in the first few weeks of the new academic session of the school, parents especially of the initial section tend to drop & pick their children resulting in a traffic jam during arrival and dispersal. You are therefore requested to bear with the situation which gradually eases out as the session progresses.
While the current situation & advisory is till 31st March 2020, we shall keep you posted of any changes in schedule as we go along. In the meanwhile, be safe, look after our children and support us by following all precautionary advisories of contact, quarantine, symptoms to fight this pandemic.
