Dear Ma’am, Greetings…
I am the mother of Maanya Verma, Nursery B.It was a huge pleasure to attend the FDP of Nursery B kids today. I am overwhelmed to see the kids perform so confidently. Each and every act was full of superb energy and smiles on all the faces. The coordination among the kids went so well. The dialogue delivery was just fantastic. I am so glad to see the kids speaking so well on mike. There was no stage fear seen in any kid.
I heartily appreciate your supervision and all the hard work put in by Ms Nalini andMs. Monika for this wonderful event. The entire units of the session were so well compiled and presented through these acts.
The efforts dedicated by activity teachers was clearly visible throughout the performance.
Even the SLC went so well. I was glad to see Maanya explaining everything so well that day. Must say, after visiting the classroom that HRTs have really worked hard in every corner of the class.
I feel so contented that Scottish was my ONLY choice for Maanya at the time of Pre-nursery. Today I feel proud to be a Scottish parent.
Thank you so much, ma’am, for keeping the patience to read this mail. Looking forward to many more years of great learning for my child.
Best wishes!
Warm regards,

Dr. Nidhi Katiyar – Mother- Maanya VermaNursery B

We want to extend our most heartfelt appreciation to Rimpy Ma’am, entire team members for the FDP.  It was an amazing show with great performances all with the effort and teamwork of the devoted teacher and SHIS team.

We were really amused to see the performance of Shadab Singh Sidhu(I-B), he was really confident and we can clearly see the efforts being invested by Rimpy Mam for the FDP preparation. We really appreciate all the hard work, time and dedication of all the entire SHIS team involved here for such a beautiful performance from all the kids.

Feeling blessed to have such a wonderful team taking care of our child.

Hello Ma’am,
I am the mother of Akshara Bansal (student of class 1B). The morning of Tuesday was so refreshing that I feel its only fair to write this feedback.  We were welcomed with the soulful bhajan (achutam keshavam) which was quite an awesome choice! My daughter asked me about Shabri the same evening. I spent a good amount of time sharing stories of Krishna,  Meera, Shabri and Yashoda with her. The skit was well enacted by the class and Hindi riddles were fun! I was very happy with all the demos of various athletic art forms, especially yoga. The best part was that my daughter was having fun putting up the show. This can be possible only when the teachers help and encourage them. Every child got a chance to have an equal stage share which shows good planning by the teachers. I would like to appreciate all her teachers and esp her HRT Ms Rimpi for weaving the whole event beautifully. She showed much patience and understanding when during preps my daughter fell sick. It was my daughter’s first year in this city and your school. I would like to extend warm thanks to you and Ms Rimpi for helping her settle down.

Respected Ma’am,
I am Harpriya, mother of Krishang Taneja, Class 1-E. Yesterday, FDP was a hit show. It was amazing to see little kids dancing, acting and enjoying every bit of it. I am sure the credit goes to Bharti Ma’am for her sincere efforts. I am very confident that he will come up with flying colours from Class 1 under her guidance and I can see the change very well in him.
Also, I would like to thank you, other teachers, who keep motivating Krishang to perform in studies and extracurricular activities. I hope Scottish will continue to groom the kids and we are very appreciative of what you have accomplished and look forward to more achievements :)

Dear Seema Mam,

I take this opportunity to comment on the journey of my daughter in Scottish High for almost 3 years right from Nursery. We had to withdraw her admission from the school this month out of our overseas relocation to Singapore. It really makes me emotional while writing this mail and also during the farewell of my daughter as we are very much attached to the School and the staff.

At the time of admission in Nursery, unlike other parents, we had filled up only one application of SHIS as this was the school we wanted to send our daughter to. Luckily, she got the admission and I am so thankful to all the class teachers she has been nurtured under – Shalini and Rashi Mam, Nancy Mam and lastly Shruti Mam.. all of them have had a right mix of pampering as well as being strict with the kids. If I am leaving my child for the entire day to the school premises for her learning, I need to trust and respect the ways and process of classroom which I always did and could see an ever-positive development in my daughter – whether winning the sports race or being at the top of the class in studies or being the best Dancer or her confidence level.

In all the three classes, I always had a complaint with teachers that Mihika doesn’t share school things at home and doesn’t share what is taught and discussed… Hers being at the top of the class was all the classroom teaching which she used to concentrate on whereas at home, always in play mood and no studies! What more would a parent need… It has been a super positive journey for my daughter in SHIS so far. Thanks to all her classroom teachers as well as Extracurricular teachers like Poornima Mam, Bhuvnesh Sir, Mukul Sir, Computer and Hindi Teachers where again she has been doing the Best !!

Would also add to it, while exploring International schools in Singapore, I could feel that SHIS is no less than the schools here, be it the classroom layout, the curriculum or the contents… my daughter will not have any problem in transforming herself when introduced to the International School in Singapore. The Exposure at SHIS is commendable!

Look forward to be again a part of SHIS family in a few years of time…

Regards, Priya

Good morning School Coordinator and Director,

I have my both kids Aditya Arora (8A) and Muskaan Arora (5H) as part of SHIS Family. We have been associated with SHIS for approx. 10 years. I get amazed with few teachers and their passion.

My son is a teenager a sensitive stage as we all know and so are all his classmates.  I can completely understand how challenging it is for teachers to handle a class full of teenagers in an effective way. I wanted to share a note of appreciation for Divya Rawat (Class teacher 8A) for maintaining a perfect balance between being a teacher and a mentor. She is strict when needed and a good friend of kids at other times. Hat off to Divya Maam.

Thanks a lot to you all for having such passionate staff members. Have a great day.

Greeting of the day

This is to bring to your notice a noble deed done by a young student of Scottish High which goes in hand with the teachings of the school. My daughter, Ishya Rao, 6-H had painstakingly made a working model of Water Harvesting and Conservation for the science exhibition conducted in school. After the exhibition, rather than discarding it, she discussed with me if there were other options of using it fruitfully. In our endeavour, we learnt of a lady who is a cancer patient and is in dire need for funds. Ishya immediately agreed to put her model up for monetary benefits. I’m proud to say that it was sold within 4 hours with the help of her art teacher. She raised Rs 1500 for it which the lady received with a lot of gratitude.
A heartfelt thank you to Scottish High family for instilling the values of caring and empathy in our children, raising them to be good human beings.
A word of loving appreciation for Ms Sonia Jain, her science teacher who was instrumental in discussing and encouraging Ishya to not only come with an idea but also guiding her throughout the exhibition. Her words of encouragement meant a lot to Ishya prompting her to put in her best efforts.

Thank you to the entire SHIS family for your teachings of love and compassion

Attached below is the appeal for funds and appreciation message from the lady who helped auction the model, with Ishya during the exhibition.

I just wanted to mention that the whole show was amazing and very well presented and planned. It was a wonderful feeling to watch the kids perform with so much zeal and confidence. It was great to see our kids showcase all their learnings and skills in the last few months with enthusiasm. As a parent, it was indeed a very proud moment for us. A special thanks to “Kanchan Ma’am” for all the effort and support to the children and for being a great mentor to them. Dear Lakshmi Mam,

Trust you are doing great! This is Pragya and Abhishek, parents of Aashvi Aggrawal (KG H). We are writing to you to express and share our excitement and gratitude we feel after having seen Aashvi’s and the full class performance in FDP conducted yesterday.

This FDP was an ‘Aha moment’ for us and was sheer bliss! Seeing a class of 25 kids all barely 5 years old, put up a flawlessly coordinated performance clearly demonstrates the kind of hard work and passion that has been put by you, Mukul sir, Bhuvnesh Sir and Poornima maam over past few days. We realize and appreciate that it must not have been easy. The Mime and Orchestra and Dance performance were innovative and a huge treat to watch.

Personally, for both of us, it was heartening to see what a long way has Aashvi come in this journey. She was a very different person – bursting with energy, excitement and fully confident in her performance. As you are well aware, our key concern areas on her developmental front have been her speech clarity and confidence – which both seemed to be put to rest in this FDP performance.

On a separate note, given we are in a reflective mode, we both wanted to thank you personally also on always having heard our concerns, giving us time to explain of priority areas we need your help on with Aashvi. Your guidance in finding solutions in our parenting journey has been supremely helpful and we really look forward to our interactions.

So, from the bottom of our hearts as parents, we thank you a lot for contributing immensely to making our child what she exuberates today.

P.S. – Will be great if you can share our feedback with Mukul sir, Bhuvnesh sir, Poornima Mam also as we don’t have their emails. She has indeed come a long way and developed a deep love for dance, music and yoga specifically – which is very very heartening for us!

Best Regards,

She has recently moved out of the school.

Wanted to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for shaping my child’s personality.

She is confident (thanks to the FDP and presentation opportunities), knowledgeable (thanks to the wonderful teachers) and compassionate (thanks for teaching her to respect and accept)

While, all the teachers since Nursery have been great, two teachers in particular have been remarkable, Ms. Priya Rakesh (Grade V class teacher) and Ms Sonia Jain (Grade VI class teacher).

Both have mentored Anoushka at a critical age and have given us (parents) appropriate and timely feedback.

Their teaching skills are undeniably exemplary. Many thanks to both.

Although it is sad feeling to move our child out of the school, we sometimes have to take such tough decisions.

Thank you once again!

Wishing the school and its teachers all the best.

Three Cheers to overall development

Respected School Coordinator and Director,

A very good morning. I wanted to share my hear felt appreciation for the efforts your staff puts to bring in overall development.  Both my kids (Aditya Arora(8A) and Muskaan Arora(5H)) are part of Scottish since beginning. It is a charm to see how they are balancing between studies and sports leading to overall development.

The girls football team is simply amazing. Lot of efforts being put by Rahul Sir. It is a charm to see him leading and putting efforts to bring girls on the ground and fine tune their skills. This shall instill lots of confidence and conflict handling capabilities in kids.

Muskaan is receiving her Kumon GOLd Trophy tomorrow, but she wants to miss it as she wants to ensure that she joins Saturday football match.  I have no words to thank Rahul Sir and the leaders of Scottish.

Heartfelt Thanks. We need more such mentors around to make our country and specially NCR full of confident girls to be ready to handle the world tomorrow.

Subject: Appreciation Notes to School for Gallery Walk

Dear Ma’am,

This mail is with regards to the Gallery Walk conducted by our child Ms. Vedika Bansal of Class V -E . Vedika has been in Scottish High since pre-nursery. Vedika for the first few years had a lot of problems settling in the school so much so that last 2 – 3 years we have been contemplating about changing the school too. But every time we have met with you we felt assured of progress and comfort.

This year has been a vital year in Vedika’s overall development. Not only has her confidence increased, the remarks we hear is that she has started participating, doing really well in most subjects,  taking interest in her studies and other activities too.  Her only fear left is that of Math’s and with Ms Rakesh’s help we are sure she will overcome that too and excel even in this subject like all other subjects.

We are grateful especially to Priya Rakesh Ma’am as she is nurturing Vedika to become better every day. This year’s Gallery walk was a clear reflection of Vedika being comfortable and absolutely confident of her class and teacher too. There was no hesitation to speak with Ms Rakesh or even discuss her progress.

We are extremely thankful to Ms Rakesh for the efforts she is putting in every child and as parents we can feel her hard work.  We are also grateful to her for giving Vedika the opportunity and platform to explore her capabilities.

Warm regards,

Dear Seema Ma’am,

Would like to put on record my experience at the Gallery Walk on 31stof August.

I was more than pleasantly surprised to witness my son, Aahaan Tripathi of Class 5 A take me through his learnings in the past few months. The confidence in his demeanor, the conviction in his communication and the clarity of his knowledge was simply superb.

The entire credit for the same goes to his class teacher and mentor Ms Reeta Kushwaha. The loving manner in which she has groomed and taught him the finer nuances of knowledge has not only evolved him cerebrally but also enhanced his budding personality. For him, she is his role model, something I am very proud of.

Thank you so very much for being such an invested custodian in my child’s life.

Dear Sanjay Sir, Pawan Sir and Nimisha,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for all the support to encourage Pratham to go for his summer School to DigiPen in Seattle, which is amongst the top 3 in the world as per current ranking.

Nimisha, you guided and steered Pratham’s interest towards such a versatile subject and I am glad he found his passion. From not a great grade in pre boards to an ‘A’ in finals and your motivation helped him gain confidence to pursue what he liked.

Sanjay Sir and Pawan sir, without your support and push, I wouldn’t probably have been able to gain confidence in sending him as he was to miss his ‘UT’  as well.

I am glad that we have mentors and teachers who see spark in a child and make that extra effort to guide them. Today, I see a different personality in Pratham. He is more assertive, confident and very clear in his thoughts.

He developed a game with his team at Digi Pen which is uploaded on youtube and also there website, sharing the links below.   (please fast forward time lap to 35.12 secs, to see Pratham’s presentation)

Thanking you all once again.

Dear Sir/ Ma’am,

This mail is to share my appreciation for Ms Gurpreet Kaur, Class teacher of class X C in Scottish High. My daughter is her student since class IXth last year. I have been meeting her in various PTM’s and during home visits for the last nearly 2 years and felt that it was time to acknowledge the teachers who make a difference.

Ms Gurpreet is a teacher in the true sense, who looks after all the students in the class equally whether they are top rankers or average students. She has induced a love of ‘Mathematics’ which is her core subject in most of the students by her skilful teaching. In fact, despite the huge syllabus for Mathematics in class X, she has ensured that there are regular tests after each chapter which keeps the students on their toes and also helps them realize their mistake. But what is important is that post the tests she takes great pain to share the improvement areas with students and help them cover the gap.

In addition, being the class teacher, she ensures that we, the parents, are updated on all circulars, test status, etc. over and above the hard copies which are shared with the children. As a parent, I find her extremely approachable and easy to talk with on all matters related to my daughter and feel extremely satisfied by her prompt responses. The same feedback is shared by kids who find her easy to talk with and also approach her if they face any issue/ need support.

I would like to wish her all the best in her teaching profession and also hope Scottish High has more teachers like her.

While the work of some of the other good teachers is also appreciable, I just wanted to share my thoughts about Ms Gurpreet.

Dear August Leadership & Faculty of SHIS,

As the time of Board Exams for ISC is getting nearer, my Mindspace is filling up with reflections of past 12.5 years – that Dyuti has spent in SHIS – from a toddler entering in the year 2006 to a young & bright student in 2019 – ready to face the world.

The other day, while sharing the Graduation ceremony moments, she was very emotional with tears trickling down. At first, I brushed it off as a “part of a life” situation but was compelled by my inner self to reflect upon her last 12.5 years…..couldn’t stop myself to write this note to you all.

Thank You All…from bottom of our hearts for being The Most Important and Integral contributor in making Dyuti what she is today! Cant’ be more delighted as parents, about the decision that we took in 2006. The Platform, the Opportunities, the Challenges, the Environment and Most Importantly the EDUCATION given to her at SHIS have been deeply gratifying – we couldn’t have asked for more!

It all began in December of year 2006 – when we were on exploration visit to SHIS. After the tour of the school, we were asked if we would like to meet the Chairman of the school. YES..was the instant answer! That was when we were ushered to Cmdr. Saini’s Office………..AND THAT TRULY was THE GAME CHANGING Moment of our lives, Dyuti’s Life…!

Dr (Cmdr.) Saini Sir!…..not only you were as charismatic and diligent as you are today….you were very KIND to agree to take Dyuti Mid-Session in KG. Thank you Sir…for being instrumental in letting us take the Most Important decision of Dyuti’s Life – admitting her to SHIS. Always thought that I would tell you this in person sometime, but our respective works have not allowed this to happen.

Dear Mrs Goyal Ma’am..…..Thank you for being so kind and welcoming, ever so patient in listening to us on many occasions and keep Dyuti motivated all the time. Thank you for your guidance, friendship, and for your discipline!

Sanjay Sir…do not have words to thank you !…..You have been real ‘Friend in NEED’ to Us and to Dyuti…Open doors of your office to Dyuti and other students and to parents speak volumes of your welcoming nature. While writing this……I recall countless interactions with you on phone, mails and in person….when we discussed her issues related to academics or extra curriculars Or her career options and many more…..! You have been truly a guiding and motivating force for us!

Pooja Dawar Ma’am….thank you very much….for being instrumental in choices she has made for career. Today we stand as proud parent with Dyuti already having offers of Admission in three global universities including two from US.

Our sincere gratitude to Mrs Geeta Bedi who, besides being a great teacher, has helped and counselled Dyuti to come successfully, out of her middle school crisis.

Our gratitude to Mrs Akanksha Yadav – her Physics Teacher and Clan elder, Mrs Neha Tiwary, Mrs Ruma Jain, Mrs Monika Sobti, Mrs Spandita Majumder, Pawan Sir, Mrs Vandana Jaitley and all other teachers associated with Dyuti- they all have immensely contributed to shape up Dyuti. Thank you all!

A million thanks to Mr Vinod and Mr Vinay from the Bus team – who have safely carried Dyuti to & from School year after year ever since she was a toddler.

While Dyuti eventually moves out of school after the exam, teachings at SHIS shall remain. Thank you for the great work that SHIS is doing and the huge impact the school has made in Dyuti’s life and lives of all other students. Thank you for all your selfless sacrifices.

With best regards and Wishes

Dear Ma’am,
My husband and I just wanted to take a moment to thank Seema and Nalini from the bottom of our hearts for the love, encouragement and understanding they have given Rayna this past year.
As parents we leave our most precious possession (our babies) in the hands of the class teacher, it’s not easy to trust someone else with your kids but, Seema and Nalini demonstrated such caring and insight I never had a moments doubt that our little Rayna was in the safest hands.
They understood her shy and observant nature, never pushed her, only encouraged her. Under their guidance, Rayna flourished!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone.
Anindyo for making such a warm and friendly first impression.
Henna for being so helpful.
Seema ma’am for being so approachable.
The security for being so careful.
Scottish High was the only school we applied to-not only for its reputation but also because as we walked through its doors, we immediately felt that it was a school that walked the talk. And it’s valued was not plaques on a wall, it’s valued were actions that every single person within its walls demonstrated.
Thank you once again,
Best Regards,
Zareena Kennedy

Trust you are doing well. My son Irvaan Pilani is now in Grade 3H. I am writing to share a feedback on Ms Namita who was his HRT for Grade 2H. She has been extremely warm, affectionate, approachable for both Irvaan and myself. In terms of curriculum too, she was very methodical and particular throughout the year. Hoping the school maintains the same standards of teachers throughout.

I really want to take this opportunity to thank Mansi Ma’am, who had mentioned in the first PTM that “its my responsibility that when your child goes from grade 2 to 3, he/she has not just grown in height. Dear all,
It gives me immense pleasure in sharing my experience with Scottish High International School. My daughters Suhaani Thakur and Paavani Thakur recently got admitted in mid session. Their teachers, Ms Charu and Ms Shivani Gupta took so much care of my children and helped both of them cope up with their missed studies. The kids didn’t feel as if they are new to school thanks to the kind and loving care given by all their teachers.
Also, my younger daughter, Paavani of class 4-F recently went to a school trip to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Fatehpur Sikri. Her HRT, Ms Shivani Gupta along with other teachers took special care of all the kids. The parents were informed of all the important moves during the trip. It felt as if we are on the trip with the kids. The trip was well planned and executed. My daughter enjoyed this experience. I am happy with my decision of choosing Scottish High as the school for my kids.
Looking forward to an enjoyable and interesting learning journey of my children here.
Best wishes to all the teachers.

Another important aspect of the program was how the parents were engaged in the themes which were in focus.  Their participation ensures that they are committed to these causes.

We are very pleased to inform you that my son Shalin Thusu who was studying in class 5G, SHIS in year 2017-18 has got very excellent marks in his Final Examination and done exceptionally well in extra-curricular activities and in sports. He scored highest marks in English and Mathematics besides scoring second highest marks in Hindi. I would like to put on record that you have really made great efforts to make him teach and practice solving Mathematical Problems and practice both written and verbal and conversational English. Special mention and appretiation is required to be placed on record for encouraging him for improving his Hindi, noting that he returned from Germany after 8 years and when he could barely speak Hindi, a year back. He was depressed and your guidance not only motivated Shalin but also made him to excel in Hindi.

I wish to mention, that you have not only taught Shalin but you have played the role of a mentor guiding him through the year, encouraging him and advising him to continuously inprove himself. I would also like to mention that the exhibition  this year was amazing and this was clearly reflected in great performances of the Children.

You have always breifed us on Shalin’s progress during PTM meetings and at all times.

I think you have set very high standards being a teacher. Your great efforts are highly appreciated and i have no words to thankyou.  Still i will give you a ‘standing ovation’.

Dear All,

Through this mail, I wish to appreciate the efforts made by Geetanjali ma’am in coordination with kids, parents and us for IRC at Dubai. We would like to mention that this would not have been possible without her efforts. She made sure all timelines were met and all information was collected timely. She spoke to all parents and did all coordination at her end. We are glad that she is coordinating with us for the robotics club.

Dear Ms. Seema Bhati/Ms. Aruna Puri,

I’m bound to write yet another mail of appreciation for the commendable work you are doing on our kids.
The PYP exhibition preparation is coming out to be a great learning lesson for the students. The formation of groups in the classes and assignment of a topic to each group has given kids a significant opportunity to derive lifetime learning out of this whole exercise.
It is an absolute delight to see Rudrr working on this presentation with complete dedication, passion and sincerity. The group, comprising of kids with distinguished talents, talk for hours on a conference call, work on google drive to have shared inputs on the PPT and have long chain of emails compiling and streamlining their work.
And it is not just the technology or the knowledge that the kids are learning out of this. The outcome is much greater and beyond measures. They are learning to be team players, innovators and task managers. These virtues and values are so beautifully instilled into the kids that they are sure to become great citizens of tomorrow.
I strongly feel our society need more mentors like you, who are not only imparting education, but also life time values.
All the best for all your great endeavors!

With Gratitude & Regards

Dear Sir,

I may hereby humbly submit that my daughter Aadya Bhardwaj is studying in your school since Pre-nursery and is now in class 6-F of SHIS. The journey so far has been truly amazing under the supervision and guidance of the experienced staff of your school. Here, I would like to mention the name of Mrs. Sonia Jain the class teacher of class 6-F who is a teacher, a guide, a mentor and above all, a friend of her students.

When the kids were promoted to class 6, my apprehension was the enormous syllabus which they had to face. I sincerely thank Mrs. Sonia Jain whose constant support, love and guidance helped Aadya to smoothly sail through this session. Sonia madam’s experience, interest and knowledge of subject truly reflects in her style of teaching. She has laid a strong foundation of Science in all her students. Aadya was too keen to appear for science exhibition, poster making & Science Olympiad for which Sonia madam encouraged her.

I therefore request you to kindly consider Mrs Sonia Jain as the Class teacher for this group of students in next academic session (in Class 7th) as well.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Dear Ms. Seema,

After every event/meeting/visit at Scottish High, I feel happy about choosing this school for my son, Rudrr Vynayak Bhatt.

Attending gallery walk today has been an incredible experience. It is a perfect way to make the parents enter into the world of learning and make them a part of the school’s offering to our kids.

I was delighted (as always) to see how nicely my son is taking in all the values his teachers are inculcating in him. The most important aspect that I’d like to mention is the independence of thoughts that kids are given. They are not only made to learn, but are made to think………. and act.

The tasks on writing upon a social causes close to your heart, or, taking the charge of family expenditure, set a brilliant example of experiential learning that these skids are put into.

My sincere thanks to Ms. Aruna, for beautifully getting out kids into this system of learning and evolving. Aruna mam explains, re-enforces and encourages Rudrr to bring out the best in him

Much appreciate the hard work and dedication of Rudrr’s teachers.

Thanks to your wonderful team of angles, who are making great citizens of tomorrow.

With another academic year passing by for my child Aahana Handa, I would like to thank Scottish High International School especially the initial chapter team and more importantly the class tutors for all the support and kind guidance through out the year. Although I understand and realise that the feedback comes little late with we all getting busy with the beginning of another year for our kids. However, I would want to make a special mention of the whole hearted efforts put by both Ms Chugh and Ms Tanupreet in the journey of my child’s development as a better groomed highlander. Believe you me, the beautiful transition of Aahana was not possible without both the class tutors putting in special efforts. In fact, not only Aahana but we could experience the entire group of students transforming to a better lot in this last one year. Needless to mention the driving force of Scottish High work ethics and professionalism which was a feather in the cap. I whole heartedly wish both the class tutors and the entire initial chapter best of luck in all the future endeavours and hope to see the same enthusiasm year after year. 3 cheers to the entire Scottish team.

My heart floods with emotions when I write this mail to you. When I trust you with my only son, expectations certainly go up by leaps and bounds. Studies, academics, syllabus is a part of school and I do appreciate all teachers for doing their jobs perfectly.

But as I believe, inculcating good values and building a character of a child is of utmost importance. And I feel so happy telling you that under the strong, motivating and loving guardianship of Ms. Vandana Jaitley, Rudrr is surely on the right path. In the past 1 year, we have witnessed endless positive developments in our son. Be it aspiring to work for his community to leading groups in his class, Rudrr has been given the space to learn, make mistakes and excel.

Vandana Mam has been the driving force behind Rudrr’s extraordinary performances in class, FDP, excursions and all possible areas that he touched upon this year. His aspiration of becoming the future Prime Misnister of India, is so seriously taken by Vandana Mam that Rudrr has actually started living his dream. His interest in politics has gone up and he shows this sense of responsibility towards his nation. So when I forget to take bills of my purchase, he tells me I am contributing to the Black Money in the country!!!!!!

In one of his speeches, Rudrr said that God cannot be everywhere so he created MOTHERS, and mothers cannot come to school with us so he created TEACHERS.

‘A Thank you’ would not be enough to express my gratitude to Ms. Vandana. I deeply owe this to her and I’m sure Vandana mam would continue her excellent work of making every child shine and grow.

Best wishes!!!!

I am not sure, but had to write to request if there is any possibility for kids to have Mansi ma’am as teacher in grade 3. Mansi ma’am’s approach towards kids is amazing and whenever I approached her for ANY issue, I always got her support through the entire year. Respected Anu ma’am

I thank you for helping kids put such a magnificent show for their FDP. It was a larger than life event. I could so easily re-cap the whole year of my child in just few minutes. The most impeccable part was that you emphasised on each child in his/her own different way and showcasing so many talents of them, which we as as parents must not also have been aware of.

Unlikely to mention, I have seen Hiral grow like a budding child. It was a pleasure to see her not only perform, but enjoy her performances.

My special thanks to Rupa m’am for always giving the encouraging parenting skills to us. The parenting workshop actually enlightened me towards a better parent.

Though with all smiles, yet I am ending up with a nostalgia of missing the Initial’s department and its warmth bestowed towards my child as she is graduating to another level and Anu maam, you shall be greatly missed for your precision in inculcating every minute skill in Hiral.

I shall make sure Hiral lives upto your teachings and guidance!

Just as the perfect rainforest has all the hues of green in it, today’s FDP put together by the Highlanders of I-C, had the perfect blend of each child’s best effort. The enthusiasm and energy was contagious, as was the very relevant message, and we really, really enjoyed the show. Thanks a lot for working so hard with our kids and putting together a flawless performance. The school’s effort in making children acknowledge our helpers – the unsung heroes and heroines of our daily lives – is laudable and we promise to do our bit in upholding the dignity of labour of all professions.

I would like to thank you and the school for providing a caring and loveable environment to our children. My daughter Tanvi is a student of grade VII. Yesterday due to her mistake a peer student Tarana got hurt. But the way Sanjay Sir handled the situation is really praiseworthy. He personally took Tarana to the Medical room and with full compassion looked after her and brought her back to the class. In these situations generally teachers punish the students but actually he consoled Tanvi and told that “don’t worry it’s a part of school life and you didn’t do it deliberately”.

In the evening too he personally called and rather than complaining about her mistake he advised me to look after Tanvi as she has Math exam tomorrow. I am really touched with the concern and compassion showed by him. Even Tarana’s mother told me that he personally ensured that Tarana is fine and informed them in a very calm way rather than creating a panic.

Tanvi told me before every exam Sir visits every class and asks the students about the syllabus completion or any concern they have about the exams and made them very comfortable.

We as parents are very happy and thank you for providing such a caring, loveable and safe environment to our children. We are looking forward for more loveable moment s in future at Scottish High.

It was a fabulous experience – made us feel like two very proud parents who’ve achieved a huge milestone. Ruaan’s confidence level and articulation skills since joining Scottish have climbed up so tremendously that without any exception – all our family and friends comment on it. Usually everyone’s very surprised to know he’s recently turned only 4!

Extremely thoughtful event – with high attention to detail about everything. Have asked so many of my friends about their schools doing something like this – haven’t heard of any so far!

Kudos to the whole team for thinking up and executing such a beautiful morning for all of us parents.

Looking forward to many more of these moments together,

My ward, Daiwik Wadhwa is studying in class Nursey – C in your esteem school and I just wanted to share my recent observations in my child’s behavior which were significantly noticeable and are listed below:
1.    Has shown lot of improvement in picking up English words with correct pronunciation
2.    Expects his parents and family members to converse in English
3.    Tries to become independent. Incidents like changing his clothes & wearing shoes himself, eating himself & even server food to his elders, etc. He even wants to cook at home and make sandwiches (like they are demonstrated in class)
4.    Tries to correlate his habits at home with what is being taught in school.
5.    The most surprising incident was he explained me not to wear shorts during morning walk as “chicken-guinea” and “dengue” mosquitoes can bite and one can become sick J. Daiwik was able to spell these diseases names properly.

There are many more such incidents and I would like to deeply thank his class teacher – Chandana Mam for being such an effective teacher and is able to carry out holistic development of my child.

Dear Rupa Ma’am,

Firstly, we would like to thank you and your team for seamless support not only when Ishaan was part of the school but also when with heavy heart we had to make an exit for Ishaan Raval (Nursery E).

Before moving to the new place we had assessed several schools as an option for Ishaan. While doing so and having a comparator in front of us, we have realised the difference that Scottish High brings to the kids in comparision to others. The sound understanding & experience of teachers to connect with parents to get an consistent report of the child’s growth is unparalleled. Though Ishaan has started going to his new school, he often misses to be a highlander. Your school has made such an starking impression on us as parents that we will remember Ishaan’s and our journey with your school for life time.

As far as your support is concerned, we believe that it would not have been so smooth if you were not around to help us in this process. We will also remember your proactiveness when Ishaan had a small accident in the school and the way you reacted to the situation on immediate effect. Thank you so very much!!!

Lastly, nobody knows about the future, but in case we think of coming back to Gurgaon without a blink of our eyes we are certain which school is Ishaan going to be part of.

Our best wishes to Schottish High school and the wonderful team for the future.

The way she took me around the class not only showing me the boards and telling about the worksheets but also emphasising on the reason why a particular worksheet was practiced. Subject: Exceptional crisis handling by the School

This is to illustrate our experience today. We received an SMS stating that due to unrest in the city, the school buses would not ply and that we should pick up our children. Immediately we called the class teacher of Class II-A – Ms. Namita Arora. Our son Eshaan Bharadwaj studies in this class. The teacher re-assured us that Eshaan would be with her and that whenever we reach she would be there with him and we should not worry. She understood that it might take time for any of us to reach the School given our distant workplaces.
When we reached school, the children were all on the field. There was a teacher who had a PA microphone in her hand and (very proactively) asked me the name of my child so that she could announce it. When I told her the class, she immediately pointed me to the amphitheatre. Kudos to her for accurately knowing where children of a particular class would be!
I went there and within a couple of seconds was able to locate Eshaan – who was with Ms. Arora, safe and happy.
On the way out the guards also did not press for an authorization card – which was considerate since I had gone directly to school upon receiving the SMS and had not collected the card from home first.
Just wanted to put my appreciation to the School on:
a.       Writing a good crisis handling set of standard operating procedures
b.       Making sure the staff had sufficient training to recall and appropriately execute those procedures in an actual crisis.
Both of the above is what prevents bad situations from getting worse and perhaps even save lives!
Just one suggestion – perhaps it would be a good idea to send out both SMS and email/call alerts  – given that in times of crisis, mobile networks tend to delay message delivery which may impact parent responsiveness.

Keep up the good work!

Best Wishes,

Subject: Exceptional help and handling by Ms. Namita Arora - class teacher II-A

Dear Ma’am,

Our son, Eshaan Bharadwaj is a student of class II-A. We have seen the development and progress under the tutelage of Ms. Namita Arora since he joined this class. She exhibits the right mix of sternness and encouragement that has really helped Eshaan to grow.
She is attentive, approachable and, most importantly, also takes personal interest in the child’s development. She is one of those rare teachers who is not just doing ‘a job’ but taking keen, personal interest in the same. She is also one of those (few) people who Eshaan responds well to.
The effort she puts in to teach Eshaan the minutest of details was evident in the way Eshaan handled the SLC and FDP sessions. She is constantly doing research on global best practices to teach primary school children linguistic and mathematical concepts in ways they can relate to and comprehend easily.
I just wanted to put this on record to express our gratitude to her and let the school authorities know that they have a gem of a teacher in her.
Wishing her and the school the best! It’s a pleasure to have Eshaan studying here!

Best Wishes,

Ashish & Vibha

Credit to all the teachers involved, for working so hard with the kids such that this performance could be a memorable event for the class and their parents.

I sincerely appreciate the Scottish High administration for conducting the FDPs, which give the kids a platform to come up and speak on stage with such confidence. Such an exposure plays a vital role in building up the child’s personality.

We sincerely thank the school for giving our children such opportunities that provide them life lessons through fun outings. As each year progresses, we see our son growing in confidence to go on such trips.

A special mention about Vandana Ma’am. In your own way, Ma’am, you have made him very independent. Divvyesh always has clarity on the instructions given to him by his teacher, not only in his school work but also prior to the camp.

An instance to note: When Divvyesh’s grand mother tried to advice him on the do’s and don’ts at the camp…like stay with the group, don’t fight with anyone, listen to your teachers, etc.. Divvyesh very confidently told her- Don’t worry Patti (grandmother), our teacher has told us what to do and we will take care..

Thank You Ma’am for taking care and for the regular updates through WhatsApp.
Must say, both the child and we parents have grown in confidence over the years.

Dear Seema mam

It’s with great pride and pleasure that I am writing this mail to you. The scintillating performances by 6-6.5 year old kids, and the confidence displayed by them was commendable. More than anything else, what really touched our hearts was that kids were loving their roles, and enjoying what they were doing.

The collective effort by all the teachers in creating this super show is really commendable.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Shailja mam for raising our kids so patiently, and taking them through the journey of learning. Kids have shown immense learning in this one year – the transition from KG to Grade 1 is a bit difficult one, but Shailja mam, through her patience, maturity and love made this transition a smooth one.

For reasons not known to me, my daughter Aanya Nigam has always been reluctant in doing skating. She was hesitant till the last day, but the encouragement from Shailja mam made her perform so well, that I could not believe my eyes. While this may appear to be a small instance, it goes a long way in creating the personality and self esteem of a child.

I am happy and proud of my decision to have admitted both my daughters in Scottish High – a school beyond comparison!

This year’s FDP theme also graduated to grade 1 just like my son Raaghav. Past themes of fun and frolic in pre-primary were replaced by Gratitude towards parents and Responsibility towards environment. It was good start when you starting the day by asking kids to touch their parent’s feet for blessings.

Namita mam has really worked hard, as well as the rest of all the sports staff members. Tremendous effort and team work has been done to produce such a great show.

Thanks for this wonderful mode of teaching our children and making them such well balanced human beings.

Subject: Great FDP !

Dear Rupa Mam,

Greetings !!

Just like last year’s FDP, emotions took over after attending the program this year too, and I was at a loss of words for appreciation.

There has been a tremendous change/growth in all the kids, and I can speak for Samaaira, she appeared very confident while speaking and performing. There has been a marked improvement in her knowledge, and what we admire the most is the interest that our child is developing to gain more knowledge.

It was a great show, well coordinated, well planned and that song for mothers.. personally it gave me goosebumps !!!

You have a excellent team of educators, who are putting in great efforts to develop the young minds with good values and knowledge.

Thanks a lot for inviting us to witness a great presentation.

Warm Regards

The entire show was very captivating, right from the impressive entry and the plan of events. Dear Mam,

What a lovely event it was. Witnessing the little highlanders perform drill on drum beats, racing, hopping was both thrilling and amazing!

The fun races for the parents was a great surprise too!

It was sure an honour to be able to attend the Sports Day at Scottish High. The fact that my daughter who wasn’t well, and who didn’t win in any race, was still very happy and satisfied, tells me what a great spirit the teachers have made the kids embibe for participation.

We always preach “winning and losing is not what its about, it’s always about how you play the game “. Kudos there for the practical implementation of this principle.

I had a great time. Wish to attend more such events in future.

Subject: Annual Sports Day - KG, Nov 4, 2015

Dear Mam,

I attended Annual Sports Day of Class KG on Nov 4, 2015. It was prodigious to be there. Fabulous display of activities, and the enthusiasm with which the little champs participated in the competitions. Cheers to all moms who took part in the fun race. Reassuring by all the parents/grandparents while the show was on. Prodigious Hospitality by the school management – perfect sitting arrangements, hot tea/coffee with snacks for the guests , milk for the little champions, as usual empowering short speech by the chairman. I was enjoying and feeling great to be part of gala event.
And I was TOUCHED with almost tears in my eyes, when during the price distribution to the winner of the competition, Initial School Principal was invited to give away the medals by Master of Ceremony,  Initial School Principal instead called upon the grandparents present at the function to do the honours. It demonstrates the humbleness, values & morals the school leadership carries and grooming our little champs.
I walked away with satisfaction and peace of mind that our champions are in the safe hands.

Dear Mam Rupa,

It was a pleasure talking to you in PTM on October 24, 2015. I was really pleased to meet you and would like to take the opportunity to thank you and your teaching staff, specially Mam Veena Puri  for looking after my daughter Hunar of KG-D with immense love and concern.

I would like to add that Scottish High exhibits a very positive environment through its positive community of great teachers and management. The integrated approach of teachers and management of action and emotion and a deep understanding of how emotions can build a better way of learning for a child is quite evident and remarkable. This sets Scottish High apart from other schools.

I hope and am sure that the school will continue to be committed to providing a safe, positive and progressive environment to children in many more years to come.

Dear Director Ma’am,

Good morning ! This has reference to the event ” In memory of Lal Bahadur Shastri” , which was organized in Epicentre , Gurgaon on October 24, 2015, in which the school choir had performed in a manner, which deserves a great deal of appreciation and applause. The children rendered the melodious song with perfect synchronization and harmony,  under the able guidance of Sachin Sir and enthralled the audience with their superb performance . It was one performance, which stood out from the rest of those performances, put up by the other schools. We, as parents of Susheel G. Shenoy, studying in grade V A, who was part of the choir, would like to acknowledge and thank Sachin Sir and the school, for the tremendous and sincere efforts taken to train and motivate the  handpicked children  talented in the field of Indian music, to bring out their best in this event.  May the children continue to sing in harmony and bring glory to the school.

Thank you.

Subject: Word of Appreciation for Parul Aggrawal Ma'am

Dear Ms Seema Bhati,
I am writing this note to place on record our appreciation for Mrs Parul Aggarwal HRT of class I – C.
Parul Ma’am has been the most important reason for Anjaneya to look forward to go to school every day. She is a true mentor and a source of inspiration for him.
Her passion for teaching and engaging with children as young as 6 year old is manifest in Anjaneya’s behaviour and grasp of knowledge from each one of his units so far.
One incident  particularly moved me as a parent, warrants a mention here.
On day at a local market we happened to meet an elderly neighbor, Anjaneya greeted him by quietly touching his feet. I was pleasantly surprised to witness that moment because touching feet is not a part of our Kashmiri culture and obviously he did not learn it at home.
On asking, Anjaneya told that “Parul Ma’am has taught us to touch elder’s feet”.
On one of the field trips to our home, got a chance to  observe Parul Ma’am interacting with kids and I must mention as a parent it was a very satisfying experience.

She addresses children’ curiosity with utmost care and compassion, children never shy from asking questions of her for the fear of reprimand.

Even the way she reprimands brings about positive change and realization in the kids rather than fear and depression.
Would like to congratulate Scottish High School for having such a Compassionate Mentor and Guide for my child.
