Dear Madam

At the outset, we hope that you are doing well and staying safe.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude and respect for all teachers at Scottish High School, for the love, affection, and care for our daughter Anindita.

While COVID 19 has brought unprecedented challenges in our country and continuity of education is a big threat for the younger generation, You and team worked extremely hard to deliver high quality education which is the DNA of the school.

The school not only delivered classroom education online but also maintained the emotional and social connection between fellow students and teachers. This helped her to remain morally boosted and cope up with the social isolation.

We are incredibly happy with her progress and credit goes to you all.

Thanks and Regards

Good Morning Ma’am,
It was really good to connect with you on Saturday for the PTM. It gives us immense confidence when we see someone as seasoned as you investing your time with these kids of 4th B grade. As i mentioned, we see you as a highly trained kite flyer (read kite as kids), who knows when to pull the string and when to loosen it.
All the classes are very engaging and we firmly believe that you give the right / balanced focus on every student. We have seen Advik shaping up in this class and acknowledge your feedback / inputs given in the mid-term report. We will continue working with you to ensure Advik becomes a brighter and a confident student.
Thank you for all that you do.
Best regards

Dear Scottish High Team ,
I would like to shout out for  “Mrs Vijaylaxmi Rajan ” (5D HRT). She is an incredible teacher with immense knowledge, patience and passion for her work!
The pandemic, have taught us and pulled us into a totally different world, ‘A Virtual world’ ! It’s not easy to adopt such a big change, specially when it comes to teaching small children online. I am so happy and feel blessed to have  Vijaylaxmi Ma’am as my child’s HRT.
The amount of hard work she puts in searching the coaching material like videos, ppts, online sites, then makes the students understand the same with so much patience is commendable. She is certainly one of the best teachers my child has got in Scottish!
Thanks for all your efforts and love for your students !!!
Regards,

Organising Grandparents Day is very thoughtful, in this busy schedule we tend to miss showing gratitude towards our elders, this way Scottish High is imbibing excellent values to children and this generation kids would also learn to show respect and love for our loved ones and would certainly grow up to believe in tradition with modernity.

Thank you Poonam Maam and Scottish High for such a delight.

Dear Sanjay Sir,

Greetings of the day!

This is my second note to you in the current academic session.

In today’s testing times when a tiny virus has scared and scarred the entire human race, it has taught us life lessons too. That we can do so much with so little. That we can adapt well and quick.

We as parents have witnessed this not only in our children but also in the exemplary teachers who are taking this uncertain situation with such grace and poise and along the way guiding the students in the art of knowledge and education.

It is rightly said that teaching is work of heart and this is so aptly reflected in the teachers that are part of my children’s life, with a special mention of Ms Karishma Bisht, class teacher of my younger son, Aahaan Tripathi of 6 A.

Along with being his class teacher, she is also his Maths teacher, a subject that I still dread and a subject that my son tends to understand and enjoy with much more sincerity than I ever did. What meant more to me than her teaching technique is her intrinsic interest in the well -being of her students. Her ability to correct and discipline and her adeptness to tending to the infinity part…. infinite joy, infinite possibilities, infinite pathways to success, infinite things to cherish, infinite ways to learn….. Infinite ways of being positive. As a maths teacher she is beyond admirable, but as a guide in my child’s life what struck me was that the value of integrity came before integration and her strive to give more love than logic.

It really touched me when she took the effort to inform me that my son was not so regular in his classes in the past week. The interest and the effort despite the ever increasing dimension of work is really commendable. This might be a routine gesture on her part, but it meant the world to me. It meant that someone was genuinely looking out for my child and was an equal custodian in his growth charter.

These small yet very significant acts of responsibility make us distinguish the minute from the massive and discern the ordinary from the extraordinary.

Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. And my kids are privileged and blessed to receive this at Scottish High.

Teachers like Ms Karishma Bisht will truly steer their wards to take the plunge of breaking barriers and enter a world of knowledge which later transcends to become wisdom. Today I send a silent yet fervent prayer and good vibes to bless the teachers and hope that all the good work they are doing magnifies and manifests in making this generation a good generation.

With sincere gratitude,

Sir, On the occasion of Teachers Day, I congratulate Team SHIS for wonderfully managing the academic session 2020-21 amidst sudden lockdown due to CORONA Pandemic. The sincere efforts of all the teachers is really commendable. The dedication and professional attitude of whole team is quite amazing. I have not come across any other school PAN INDIA which has performed so well and continued academic session in full swing without any pause. Hats Off to the teachers who kept on working tirelessly even during declared summer vacations. Even all indoor/outdoor activities, clubs and competitions were planned and administered efficiently.
I take this opportunity to offer my sincere thanks to HRT of 6G , Mrs. Sonia Jain, who handled the transition of kids from primary wing to senior wing, very smoothly. She made kids comfortable with new curriculum and new ways of learning. Her constant encouragement and affectionate attitude kept their morals high.
While, the whole surroundings is filled with negativity, all the teachers did a brilliant job by engaging kids in constructive activities and keeping them motivated all the time, which was very difficult otherwise. During lockdown, I have witnessed complete transformation of my daughter Aishani Srivastava, from a shy, careless child to a responsible and confident girl ready to take up challenges head on. And all credit goes to HRT Mrs. Sonia Jain and associated teachers. I am sure that with this grooming she will reach heights of success.
I salute this strong spirit of dedication and unparalleled commitment of SHIS Teachers. I dont have any doubt that Future of our child is in secure hands. Thanks for being wonderful mentors.
Wishing all the teachers a very happy teachers day once again.

Thanks Regards -Abhilasha Srivastava M/O Aishani Srivastava 6G

Dear Sanjay Sir,I have been meaning to send this mail for long but somehow couldn’t make time for it.
The year 2020 is clearly an unusual year for all of us. Many children didn’t get a closure of the previous year and the new academic year began. Amidst this pandemic, we as adults and children have experienced huge anxiety and confusion over the future. The task for teachers has been even more daunting to not only adapt to a newer world but also upskill themselves in a short time.
I would like to place my sincere appreciation for Ms Karishma Bisht, Grade VI A Class teacher and Maths teacher. My daughter, Riana Baijal has been a student with a fair amount of apprehension towards Maths. Not only did her teacher turn her around into a curious student, take away her fears but despite no in-person interaction built trust and comfort for my daughter. My daughter tells me, she experiences her teacher as a compassionate person who genuinely seems interested in students. In my interaction with Karishma, I felt assured that my child is in good hands. She was very receptive, understanding and keen to partner for the development of my child.
She has made her classes interesting and engaging for children. Very prompt in her support and deeply encouraging for her students. Thank you Karishma for teaching from your heart.
Another teacher that deserves appreciation is Ms Sananda Das. brilliant way to bring concepts to children and the extra effort she puts in her lessons.
I am sure there are many teachers who have made much effort but these ones really deserved a note of appreciation.
I look forward to Scottish High Management and Teachers helping students tide over this difficult year with much grace and courage.
Regards Shruti

Dear Unnati Ma’am and Suchitra Ma’am

I am writing this to convey our sincere thanks to you both for your hard work and patience.

My daughter – Virangna Arora was enrolled for formal schooling this year to Scottish High and we all were so excited. This pandemic led to a very different type of schooling and it was a very tricky situation for parents and teachers initially.

But the way our daughter has started to show interest in the things being taught in the online sessions is a proof of great ideology and open learning culture of the school.

I am especially impressed the way you both are managing things and adding value to each day of hers and ours.

Post my recommendations to a few of my friends, one of them has recently got her daughter enrolled for next session as well.

Keep up the good work!

Dear Ma’am,I have been thinking of writing this thank you note since a long time. A thank you note for all teachers and staff of Scottish High International School. It’s been a long association with the School now. The journey started during the year 2013 when my daughter – Naisha Kalher got admission in pre-nursery grade. One thing I always remember from Chairman Sir’s speech during an orientation session for parents – “your child is in safe hands, just don’t worry about your child’s progress”. And Scottish High has lived to that assurance till date.In the Covid19 times, the year had been tough, little scary and uncertain. I would like to appreciate the way situation has been handled by Scottish High. I was a little unsure about online classes in the beginning. I was worried that how my daughter will reciprocate to this new normal and of course an isolated lifestyle. I understand that the solitary confinement of children had been tough for them. Despite all hardships, right from the beginning of online classes, Scottish High has done a marvellous job. I may like to wholeheartedly thank the teachers of Scottish, especially Mrs Reeta Kushwaha, HRT of my daughter’s class. I admire the way teaching is being handled during this tough time. It is really appreciable that the spark for learning and enthusiasm in children is being maintained at the same level as during the pre COVID times by the HRT. I can see the eagerness in Naisha to be ready for the online class. The passion amongst children is the outcome of the great efforts Mrs Kushwaha is putting towards the online coaching. It is really significant. During stressful times all subject teachers have come out with novel ideas of engaging children in activities, which is gratifying as a parent. Teachers are rendering diligence in imparting learning to students along with maintaining discipline during classroom sessions. I am again thankful to Scottish High School for this commendable effort. I look forward to a wonderful association with Scottish High Family in coming times.

Best regards

I am writing to you to congratulate and to say a big thanks to you and your wonderful staff.

I as a SHIS parent is totally satisfied and amazed to see the effortless and unique teaching methods used by Meenakshi Mam. I am so touched with her motherly and fun-filled teaching methods which doesn’t let our tiny kids loose focus. She is able to establish such a connection with our kids in such a short time that they look forward to her online classes every morning, rejuvenated. She knows it exactly when to say what and how to handle every child. She is well versed with highs and lows of all the kids and handles them accordingly. The best part is she pays individual attention to every single child and ensures that every child is matching up to the pace and then she moves ahead to another topic thereby maintaining a balance in the class. Mostly I do not sit in her class because I am assured and gratified with the fact that she is the one I can blindly rely upon and kids are in the most comfortable space with her.
Apart from academics, I am also amused with the fact that as an HRT, she is answering all our queries so proactively. She is so approachable and comfortable to talk with about anything anytime. Always ready to help, motivate us also. She really helped me in accepting the online teaching method when I was messing up everything.  She doesn’t even stop herself from helping us going out of her way. An amazing teacher and a wonderful human being. With her continuous support and positive behaviour, I am able to sort everything about coping up with my daughter’s online studies.
I am sure all the teachers are doing lot of hard work and backend research to adapt to this new way of teaching on day to day basis and I must say they are successfully able to establish the connect with children.
Congratulations once again for having some of the most amazing and brilliant teachers on board. All your efforts to train and retain them are appreciable.

Dear Seema Mam, Hope you are safe and doing well.
I am Shipra, mother of Divij Agrawal (Nursery B). I just wanted to tell you that online classes are working very well for children. The result is far better than could be expected.
I especially want to praise Vineeta mam for her way of teaching. She can engage the kids really well and understands their weaknesses. The way she speaks itself creates an impact on children’s mind, which helps them grasp anything faster. Be it storytelling or a simple song, what she teaches remains with kids for much longer. She has amazing ideas and takes special efforts for kids who may need more help.
I am extremely pleased with the effort of both teachers and the result. Hope the learning continues!

Dear Shveta Ma’am,

Thank you!!

We are delighted to see how much Akshainie has learnt over these two months that too through online classes !!

As a parent,  we look at it from ‘just activities’ point of view when we did it one by one but the hidden learning outcomes comes to light when we see Akshainie’s reflections and understanding on the same.

We want you to know how grateful we are to have you as a teacher. Your teaching style really engages the kids and gets them pumped up and excited about learning.

We appreciate all your hard work, patience and the positive learning environment you provide for your students.

We all are going through a very difficult phase right now and together with managing home, you have taken all the measures to ensure that we are not missing our lessons or lagging behind, especially in this crucial year. I thank you and all the teachers and the school for ensuring a smooth transition to virtual classrooms. Other than the fact that I am not physically present in the classroom, I am not missing anything. I promise that I will not let you down and I will try my level best to meet your expectations.

Thanking You,

Dear Seema Ma’m,

This is to share a few words of appreciation for Namita Ma’m, HRT for Class 2-A.

Namita Ma’m has really helped Mahi, my daughter, improve her skills and learning in various subjects, over the excellent online classes. Mahi is more confident while speaking and is also able to imbibe and apply the concepts in Maths (her favorite!),  English, etc. very well.

Namita Ma’m also gave a very candid and frank feedback for Mahi during the online PTM, highlighting the areas of further improvement, which is very well appreciated. We also appreciate the rigor and discipline Namita Ma’m ensures during the classes.

Mahi is more than eager to attend the classes everyday!

A big Thank You for all of Namita Ma’m’s efforts and your overarching guidance, in ensuring the above..

Thanks & regards,

Hello Ma’am,
Hope you are doing good and taking all measures for your and family’s safety amid this pandemic.
Through this email, we want to convey our sincere gratitude to You and all the Respected Teachers of Class 5D.  In this unprecented situation, the way, teachers planned a curriculum and effectively implemented it digitally, it’s highly appreciated.
Managing kids in a class is not an easy task.  Managing them virtually is beyond imagination.  However, the way Vijaya ma’am and other teachers are managing the class is just superb. Keeping an eye on each student as to whether the camera is on or not, every student is getting chance to speak or not and maintaining the interest of every student in the class is a mammoth task, which teachers are performing extremely well. Observing kids in the initial few classes was fun :)
Seema Ma’am, we are grateful to you, Vijaya Ma’am and all the class teachers for commendable efforts. Online classes have re-engaged Ojas and made life easy for us.
Many thanks once again Take care and stay safe

Dear Ms. Bhati,

Hope you are doing well and keeping safe. I am writing to you today to thank Ms. Reeta and  Ms. Sita for teaching a great class online during this panedaminc condition of Covid-19.

I understand during this difficult time, it is totally a new experience for students and class teachers to take classes online.

I have observed since the time online classes have started, students are keen to log in and full of joy to learn through different experience of online journey.

I am sure this transition period is difficult for both teacher and students, I would like to appreciate each team member (Management) to present such a successful show. Especially Ms Reeta and Ms Sita they not only teach in a different way to make class interested in learning, but they also understand students problems and help them find the best way to solve. Kudos to all teachers taking initiative for this big change (New Normal)

Have seen great transition ever. Thank you to all the teachers for the hard work.

I’m a really happy and proud parent of Scottish High the way you all are handling this responsibility of teaching our kids.
Lakshmi ma’am your style and teaching aids and methodology has worked and helped connect with the students. Drishti looks forward to your online sessions. Your time management and patience with the super active and sometimes noisy class is worth appreciating.
Adding zoom sessions by dance and music faculty has also added to the fun and extracurricular learning of the children.
Looking forward to more learning and fun from you.

Hi Ma’am,
We parents of Leisha Saha 2-A and Tishya Saha Pre-Nur A want to express our gratitude to all the teachers who are doing such amazing work under the current circumstances. We admire Namita ma’am’s teaching methods and how she focuses on each and every student, reinforcing every topic until all students have learnt their lesson. Also we are very proud of Leisha’s Hindi performance which is all due to Roopa ma’am effort. We never had to help her in her assignments as she is very clear on what had to be done.
Coming to Urvashi ma’am, Monika ma’am, Poornima ma’am and Mukul sir words fail to express how nicely they are handling such young minds (two and a half, three years old) who can’t stay in one place for long duration!
Kudo to all the teachers!

Hi Mam,

The current circumstances are definitely not ideal however, the Online Classes have given us (parents) a window to peep-in and have an insightful view of the several approaches adopted by Teachers in dealing with kids in various scenarios, sensitively handling their inquisitive minds, managing their different behavior patterns, varying point of views, their innocence, their restlessness, their excitement and most importantly their understandable/pardonable naughtiness!!

So in a way, these online sessions have been a blessing in disguise….as we (parents) are now in a better position to empathize, understand and appreciate the HRT’s perspective/point of view more rationally!! (which was somewhat missing earlier)

(Would just like to clarify here pls. that I don’t attend/sit through kimaya’s classes, just that since the laptop is connected with speakers so get to overhear some sessions, while finishing my official work/daily chores. Hence these observations )

Our Observation/Feedback

Mam, first & foremost – Would like to begin by mentioning that we sincerely appreciate the incredible & most appropriate manner in which you handle all the kids, however will restrict my feedback to Kimaya’s progress for obvious reasons.

Kimaya’s Feedback

Kimaya is a sporty, sensitive, carefree child with a mind of her own (as rightly pointed out by you as well mam), who works well with encouragement and positive affirmation. She often questions the unquestioned areas & is a lateral thinker who often comes up with out-of-the box approaches. She enjoys outdoor sports, gymnastics, creatively lego building and of late, is displaying great interest in science experiments as well. She can be dramatic, naughty and is often restless/excited to share just about everything!!

We would really want her to work on her Areas of Improvement, which are as given under : –

·        More sensitive to Timelines – She shouldn’t procrastinate till the last hour for completing her work & do it well in time rather than just-in time.

·        More Accurate – She can work towards reducing silly/careless mistakes done due to hurrying up and not rechecking.

·        More Confident –  Can’t understand why she suddenly freezes/becomes conscious when asked to respond despite knowing about things and being over-confident otherwise!!

Overall Feedback

We are glad to see that Kimaya has adjusted well under your experienced mentoring and are therefore confident, that she will have a great journey ahead of academic learning & acquiring desired life skills, to become a contributing human being on world stage.

We were also pleased to interact with you during the PTM mam and truly admired your thorough professionalism from an overall prespective.

Thank you once again mam for your constant encouragement, patience, understanding and valueable guidance. Appreciate it!!

Warm regards,

Kirrtika Kapoor

We are grateful for your patience with the children as they cope with the new normal during these unprecedented times. We especially appreciate your efforts in making each session productive and engaging at the same time. We laud your patience during these sessions and the effort you make to give each child an opportunity to share ideas with their classroom peers and of course with you.
We are very happy with your encouragement of Kovit’s efforts and instilling a sense of responsibility and ownership during these classes. We look forward to a great school year.

Dear Madhulika Ma’am,
At the outset – I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. This is a note from us (Raghav’s parents) to appreciate the hard work being putting in by you to ensure the children have a seamless learning experience.
To say that these are unusual times is an understatement. With such a lot of negative news inundating us each day relating to COVID-19,  you are doing a great job at keeping the children motivated, engaged and positive. This is a tough job at the best of times! We can only imagine how difficult it must be when you have a group of 20 ten-year olds to manage in a remote environment.
Raghav only has good things to say about you and his experience of the “new normal”. Of course, he does miss the chance to interact in person with his classmates. Hopefully, all this will pass us soon and we will be back to life as we knew it in 2019.
Seema Ma’am – This is a note to thank you for all of what I’ve mentioned above. You have the added task at doing this at scale across multiple classes, teachers etc. These are truly difficult times…and educators need so much more credit than we give them.
In conclusion – I wish you and your families continued good health. We look forward to seeing you (in person) when things get back to normal.
With warm wishes,

Hi Ma’am, we are absolutely satisfied with the way Anika’s learning through the new medium. I really appreciate the way teachers have stepped up, for I know how much efforts and preparation it takes for a 40 min class with such young children. Children are engaged throughout and wait for the class which in itself is such a positive sign. Though as parents, we have to dedicate more time for Anika’s revision/assignments etc but it’s fair considering the unprecedented situation that we are in. With all the efforts being put by teachers, we, as parents can at least do that much to support you all 😊 I’m sure we will sail through these turbulent times well and come out victorious. Thank you!

Hi.. I really want to thanks Bharti Ma’am and SHIS for all the PPTs, videos and worksheets which are very good and informative.

It reflects the kind of hard work, time and energy you all are putting in for preparing such an interactive class for kids.

These new virtual classes are the new normal for all of us and PTM discussion was also very healthy and we get good directions on how to make Abram more attentive in the classroom. Though we took a lot of time but it was soo lovely to talk one to one from school after such a long time which I believe all parents were missing.

Poonam,

Both Advay and I have loved interacting with you. Loved it totally. It’s endearing to see Advay has formed a bond given so much distance. This is purely your commitment and style of learning that my son is attached. You should be very proud!

Case in point: he wakes on Saturdays and asks “Ma why no Poonam Sharma ma’am class today!” 😊.

With respect to classes, the quality has seen a marked improvement. To be fair, this change from in person education to virtual has been tough for both teachers as well learners.

I’ll mention two things that all the teachers need to keep high on their radars:

I continue to feel it is extremely difficult to get a 6year old to stay focused on a screen nonstop. To that effect, smaller batches go along way to solve for this challenge. If the batches get merged, I would be quite worried about the quality and the ability for Advay to stay focused.

Another challenge I feel that exists with online medium is, louder and more extrovert kids get a natural advantage. My son is an introvert and is a very soft speaker. Sometimes I’ve noticed what he is expressing is not fully getting thru because he speaks so softly. Again, I don’t have not good way of solving for it but it is a very important call out for teachers.

Except from this, I am very very glad he got you as his class teacher. You ve been very patient and very accommodating and we love you!

Teacher – Poonam Sharma                                                                          Class 1 D

Hi,

I see Kalasg enjoying the classes with both the teaches very much! Inspite if being a new new medium of learning, im really happy with the way the kids are being taught and attention is given to each one of them.. all the new concepts , be in matras, nouns, bigger numbers, readinf etc, are well taught by them! In these formative years, its really important that the kids learn the concepts clearly and though i was apprehensive about the online learning, im very satisfied with the results! All the work, home assignments, reading etc she does on her own with no help from me and I was surprised to see that she is comfortable with it! Thanks one again to all the teachers for upping their game and making the best of this situation!

We always get nervous when our son starts with a new teacher, but you have set our minds at ease after this remarkable conversation.

It has come to our attention that our child is not seated properly, and we are trying arranging the table and chair as soon as possible.

We appreciate your hard work over the last month and appreciate you staying in touch about how things progress. We trust that you will work hard to care for all the children in the class.

Need your support to just cross-check with our son that he understand the class homework.

Dear Afreen ma’am,

As Ahaan started his new academic year at SHIS, we were a bit unsure of how things will progress and we kept up a positive outlook.

Now that he has covered the initial and probably most challenging phase of his digital journey with his schoolmates and teachers, we cannot help but applaud the sincere and effective efforts you and the school have initiated.

Ahaan is happy and is learning well. We as parents, feel more included in the process and are equally happy to see him and his classmates adapting so well.

Our sincere appreciation is due to you and Roopa ma’am for being kind and patient with the kids and  making learning engaging and fun.

Our feedback for the entire team:

These covid era has been testing time for all, but these smart kids are very adaptive to any new challenges that’s thrown to them at any point of time…Thanks to school and specially the teachers even in these restraints the academic part planning and involvement of the kids has been just perfect.

Too much of screen time was always a concern but I think it’s just apt right now with a mix of online classes and then offline completion of the assigned tasks which is balancing itself in just the right way as of now.

we have always been happy with school’s outlook since we joined and became a part last year with nothing much left to be demanded.

As parents the way we know our child being a bit shy to new people ..she got the right exposure, support and opportunity from the school and class teacher and eas able to outshine. Her potential and ma’am’s experience and guidance is  making us all proud.

Your entire crew is much appreciated ma’am… Kudos to the team. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for your time and feedback in today’s PTM. While we both continue to work on Samarjit and take out best out of him, I would also like to say few things. At this pandemic situation where worry fear was going around about self and kids too, Scottish high has really managed everything so efficiently not only at their own end but also giving us so much confidence that our child’s future is in very safe hand. Declaring holiday at the right time, starting with a very few assignments in beginning then gradually increasing the pace to an extend every child gets adapted to it. In fact this effort is so successful that I could hear from other parents too and see my own kids enjoying these online classes very much. Thanks to you also Mam where you have been always connecting thru Whatss up and also checking with me in between too frequently if everything is fine. The Friday fun classes messages were awesome where kids start practicing their themes, being creative to give their best and prove themself best in online classes in front of their peers. Another good thing Mam is that you upload everything in files so for a busy mom like me I can easily access those files and help kid recap the session at my own convenient time. The answer sheets are also thoroughly checked and sent for our reviews. So many good things and practices is being done and followed. I do discuss about these with my corporate colleagues too. I also appreciate the letter from principal Mam which is very crisp and clearly written to us. Kudos to Scottish high management team, dear principal Mam and to you too. We are proud parents.

Goodmorning Mam

Firstly I would like to say thank you for a Well being call. It’s great to see that  you are taking so much pain to make the online schooling to be successful.

Divyansh always talks very positive and highly of you. Divyansh is super excited about the recent pair activity and the Friday fun sessions.

I would like to acknowledge and place on record our thanks and appreciation for the following:

1) The entire MS teams set up of Scottish high. It’s not only working well but is very well organised at the school’s end.

2) The proactive approach to review the assignments and feedback given by teachers;

3) The quality of assignments sent as homework is great;

4) Now organising physical/ extracurricular activities  (like music, dance etc) also on Teams

While we all want this phase to get over but the school management, administration and teachers have once again stepped up and led by example for Children  that “ where there is will there is a way”.

Thank you so much. Look forward to interact with you through out the year.

Dear Itee Ma’am,

At the outset – I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy.

This is a note from us (Gayatri’s parents) to appreciate the hard work being putting in by you and your colleagues to ensure the children have a seamless learning experience.

These are unusual and trying times –  COVID-19 has changed the world as we know it. Amidst the steady of stream of negative news on the pandemic,  you and your colleagues are doing a great job at keeping the children engaged and positive. This is a tough job at the best of times! Adjusting to the remote medium of delivering lessons must not have been easy. We are glad to see teachers and students alike adapting to the “new normal”.

Gayatri of course does miss interacting in person with her friends. Hopefully, all this will pass us soon and we will be back to life as we knew it in 2019.

Sanjay Sir – This is a note to thank you for all you’ve been doing of keeping the learning journey going for the children. You have the added task at doing this at scale across multiple classes, teachers etc. Please extend our thanks to all the faculty and support staff who have been partnering with you in this journey.

Educators deserve far more credit than we give them. I hope this note does justice to conveying our feelings of gratitude.

In conclusion – We wish you and your families continued good health. We look forward to seeing you (in person) when things get back to normal.

With warm wishes,

Dear Madam,

I am writing this email to provide you the feedback for the online classes being provided by your school to our child. For first 2 days I was bit upset as there was lot of hiccups in the system. Now things have been streamlined. I have been talking to many other parents and all of them are happy and positive on the initiatives been taken by the school.

I am very impressed with the effort and patience of the class IVD teachers specially madam Vandana Jetly. I had a conference parent teacher meeting with her this week and was impressed with her attitude and dedication towards the class.

I hope my message will serve as a catalyst to further motivate your team which is working very hard during these tough times.

Dear Sudha Ma’am

As a long standing patron of Scottish High – Medha Goyal, our daughter,  has been with the school since Nursery and after IGCSE, is now a IB-DP student of yours – we wanted to put on record some of our heartfelt sentiments for the school – its teachers, administration and staff.

It would not be an exaggeration on our part at all to say that SHIS has had a great and positive influence in shaping Medha into the responsible, and affectionate, young adult that she is growing up to be. She is our daughter, and we will always be proud of her, but along with our love and affection, she is also now earning our respect for the value system that she is imbibing and demonstrating – something that would not have been possible without the encouraging and supporting environment of SHIS.

As parents, SHIS has always made us feel comfortable, and safe. Your attention to details, and the caring and loving environment that you create both inside and outside the classroom, are your strengths. PYP, and then IGCSE, have been great experiences for Medha as a student, and for us as parents.

Pawan Mittal Sir, has been a rock solid pillar of support with his ever reassuring, open-door, very constructive and an always supportive and positive approach.  We have gone to him on several occasions with questions and concerns, and have always walked out feeling confident, re-assured and satisfied.

Over the last several weeks, as the world comes to terms with COVID-19, Dr Sanjay Sachdeva Sir and Renuka Bhasin Ma’am, have been working with us navigate forward with the IB-DP on-line delivery. Both of them have been extremely understanding of our concerns and continue to address them in the typical SHIS fashion – open, considerate and accommodating.

We haven’t mentioned Medha’s several individual teachers here – and even if we tried, we couldn’t do justice to it because over the years, every single one of them has earned our appreciation!  We don,t know how you will manage this for us – but somehow we do want to say a very big and warm THANK YOU, to each one of them.

For Medha and us, the next two years are the trophy years at SHIS.  I am sure they will be as rewarding and satisfying for all of us as the previous years. With COVID-19 and its aftermath here to stay for several more months ahead, we remain confident that SHIS will charter a safe and secure way for its students and staff balancing physical safety and well being with academic rigour.  Continued on-line delivery as the mainstay, or a parallel platform, till at least September 2020 should be a candidate for serious consideration by the school.

Once again, a warm Thank You, and with best of regards

Aryash has a clear understanding of whatever is being taught in the class. He picks up fast and is able to complete his assignments on his own. I have also noticed that he is able to answer your questions during the class and can even explain to me after the class.

He is fond of you and the subjects being taught. However, he finds it boring to sit in front of the screen for a long duration hence prefers keeping a pencil and paper with him for scribbling or even making notes of what is being taught.

Hi Ma’am, please find my honest feedback for today’s session.

– Really appreciated the efforts that you have put into making this session work.

– Anaya loved the session and is looking forward to the next session

– Looks like that Anaya will have a steep learning curve, when it comes to working on computer. She would learn 2 times faster than in a  regular scenario

– Eventually the class timings have to be increased, request if this could be gradual

– Alot of times the screen was not responding well, may be due to bandwidth issues

– Please share assignments which does not have any printing part to it, to ensure its completely online.

Dear M’am Shriya is enjoying her online classes and learning as well. While the current learning agenda is appropriate, the progress and rate of learning can be increased now going forward. As an example math classes can be extended and made more extensive ie include more content and give more homework/activity for the children.

All in all I am happy with the manner this medium of learning is being conducted and especially we believe you are an empathetic teacher and guide, affectionate at the same time firm with kids when required. We are happy to have as Shriya’s teacher.

So Kyna is seated besides my desk, I am working busily since morning, she is doing her class – we are almost like colleagues in the same office now!

And I hear so much energy and positivity in your voice, you are engaging the class so well, your voice has so much power and enthusiasm and they way you are managing the kids is awesome.

This is not easy at all – under our current circumstances, you are doing a great job and kudos to you and all the teachers at SHIS who have as always proved their commitment and resilience.  A very big thank you!

Have a wonderful day ahead!

Respected Madam,

During my school days, my mentor teacher told me that most successful person possess quality of high flexibility & to be patient during challenging time posed by life from time to time. I was very young & did not understand the actual meaning of such advice but today I realized that how true !!

The motive behind to write you at this juncture just to render my heartfelt gratitude to Ms Bharti Gope, the teacher of 3F, and her team those not only displayed immense flexibility to “Bend like a willow,” but also to challenge the uncertainty imposed by COVID -19. The true feat, however, is not only flexibility but the urge to continue further & look beyond the uncertainty, to demonstrate persistence, excellence, promptness, caring & assurance for our children during these odd/uncertain hours. The well-designed virtual classes, appropriate course content & screen time allocated to all children to avoid any additional stress on mind & eyes exhibits the highest degree of professionalism & caring attitude.

With this note, I strongly suggest that the present screen time is absolutely appropriate & please do not increase the screen time since it would be difficult for the kids those are away from home & are managing through with available apparatus / gadgets.

I once again render my sincere thanks & best wishes to Ms.Gope .

With Regards,

Dear Ma’am,
Mail acknowledged!
I would like to really appreciate the efforts taken by PSP and HRTs and the Scottish team involved, in creating this schedule. Being a teacher myself, I understand the pain and efforts behind all this. The elaborate letter by Seema ma’am is an advance answer to all the queries which can line up. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and making these things easy for the parents. The attached advisory of cyber safety is self-explanatory. Must mention…the ‘Meet and Greet’ Session by Ms Priya, went so well, all kids are super happy to interact with her so smoothly.
Thank you again to all of you for planning everything in such a thoughtful, mature and wise manner. Stay blessed Scottish Team! Stay safe!

Dear Ma’am,
Hope you are coping well during COVID -19. Thank you so much for the weekly assignments. Ayesha is enjoying a lot in doing these assignments.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all the lovely teachers as the assignments are explained so well by all the teachers that I feel very proud that my child studies in such a wonderful school under the supervision of such knowledgeable teachers. The way the teachers explain everything is so amazing that I am sure all the children must be understanding it well and clearing their basic concepts which is so important at their age.
The learning material through which the teacher explains is also very much in detail and easy to understand. My daughter Ayesha looks forward to these weekly assignments. Each time I go through the videos I realize that it not only clears my daughter’s basic concepts but to be honest it also teaches me a lot of good things and brushes my concepts too :D :D so thank you.
Kudos to all the teachers who are spending so much time on making these wonderful videos and sparing time along with their household chores in this tough time of COVID-19. It’s highly appreciated and a big thank you.

Thank you for your insightful, and constant guidance.
Rishi has shown a tremendous improvement this last academic year (6 D).

We were indeed fortunate that you were his HRT, and always there to guide and mentor him. This resulted in an all round improvement and development.

He really enjoyed studying science, and scored the highest marks in his class in the finals.
I am so thankful that you are his science teacher this year too.
Looking forward to another year of happy learning!

Dear Bharti Ma’am,
I would like to thank you for being such a great educator. Yuvraj has had a wonderful learning experience through you in class 3C. Thank you for being supportive and always showing him the correct path.
I have a long list of things to appreciate you for, but one thing that crosses my mind right now is your efforts you put in to help Yuvraj improve his handwriting. So much so, that he came 3rd in the Hand writing competition. And not to forget the efforts you put in for their FDP which was so informative and overwhelming. You made us see and realise what our children are capable of doing.
Thank you for everything you have done for the children of 3C.
Keep up the good work!!

Dear Sanjay Sir,

This mail is with regard to overall performance of my son Namish Aggarwal (VI C) in Scottish High International School. Just to share, the performance of Namish had always been towards merit side and (as a parent) we are satisfied to see the all round development of Namish as a student. We are aware  of most of his subjects and the very fact that his understanding level is good for all the subjects speaks of the inputs/efforts that all the school teachers of this prestigious institution are putting in the academics and co-curricular activities.

Though all subjects are good but Maths and science had always been his favorite subjects. As a parent we do check his understanding  of different subjects and He is able to learn/understand all the concepts with support of well trained teachers of Scottish High. The overall pattern of the tests spread over unit/term tests and regular class tests is the right model for kid to regularly brush up what all he learnt.

Though I am sure that all teachers are putting in lot of efforts but our SPECIAL thanks to Karishma Mam (Maths), Seema Mam (Geography), Jyoti Mam (Science), and Maya Mam (History) whose teaching skill set and overall command over subject is really praise-worthy. Combo of Books+teacher+student+school helps to excel in academics and this perfect blend is available in Scottish High (Thanks for the same to complete School Mgt).

Also to add on, Karishma Mam had been his class teacher in Grade 6th and she had been a very good mentor to guide these kids in learning the right attitude/Skills/discipline/learning that are essential for these kids to become a confident teenager. A humble request that she continues to teach him in Grade 7 as well.

Thanks and Stay safe

Memories of my year with Suzanne Maam in grade 4

That day when I was the first student to come to class, I saw Suzanne ma’am, sitting in front of her computer.
I was already imagining a room full of giggles, laughter and noise. That’s when my day began. When the work started, I came back to my senses and realised I was a fourth-grader Suddenly! our vacation started.
After the holidays, I was so excited to go back to my favourite teacher, Suzanne Ma’am.
By mid-year, I knew there were only 6 months left to be with Ma’am. I was half happy and half sad.
Happy because after a few months I would be a fifth-grader and sad because I would have to leave my Suzanne ma’am behind.
Suzanne ma’am was a wonderful class teacher.
She had a knack for being funny, calm and strict at the same time.
Frankly speaking, I think she is one of the best teachers for me till now.
Her passion and affection have always inspired me to do my best at all times.
I have made uncountable, lovely memories that I will cherish for a long time.
Dear Suzanne ma’am, you have made your place in my heart and I will always miss you.

love,

Ahaana

Dear Ma’am

I would like to thank both the teachers of Nursery G from the bottom of my heart. During the session 2019-20, my son Abhyuday got admission in your prestigious school/Institute “Scottish High”. It’s been a year now and has seen his growth in all aspects, be it physically, mentally, emotionally or psychologically. I thank both the teachers for giving him so much love and affection here, that he thinks the school his second home, which is a great support and satisfying thing for working parents.
His confidence level, academic performance has improved a lot and above all, his performance in FDP. I was enthralled to see his performance in FDP. It was so good to see these little kids performing so nicely on stage, with so much confidence and enthusiasm. We all enjoyed that event. All thanks to both the HRTs and the hard work that they’ve put in.
As we all know that every “first thing” in our lives is always special for us and is close to our hearts. So both the teachers (Jyoti Mam and Smita Mam) will always be special for Abhyuday. I consider him a lucky kid that he got these two teachers as his “Gurus” at the initial stage in school from whom he has learnt a lot, under their guidance. It wouldn’t have been possible to settle him in school without their support, cooperation and understanding.
I wish them all the very best for their future endeavours. Thanks a ton again.
Abhyuday loves coming to school now which was not the case earlier and he loves both the teachers a lot.
I really appreciate all their efforts from the core of my heart.

Dear Ma’am,

I would like to share my pleasant and great learning experience of PYP Exhibition done on 27th Feb’2020.
The details shared by each and every individual in the class during the presentation was crystal clear and each one of us could relate with self and things happening around.
The kids were conceptually very clear on what they have to say and what they have to explain.
Along with it, their team efforts were clearly seen and were encouraging each and others on their performance whether it’s a song, skit or dance.
Above all, I would really appreciate the efforts put in by the mentors and Anita Ma’am who have made it happen and made the concepts crystal clear to kids. Thank you for their guidance and support to kids to learn in their own way.
I have shared my experience on my LinkedIn profile and people appreciated the act of the school.

Thank you once again for such an outstanding opportunity to us and kids by making us understand the situation so beautifully.

Dear Seema Mam/ Bharti Mam,

Greetings of the day!
A bit late but we would like to extend our big thanks to you for putting in so much of efforts and energy in our kids which could be seen easily at the time of their FDP. We are so happy to see our daughter, Amaira Singh’s performance with full of enthusiasm and zeal.
Also, she had so much fun at the picnic and at the night camp in the school. We could see just one day staying away from the parents has made changes in our child. Amaira has always been a confident and an independent child but seeing her more independent; really made us proud of her and of course on you!

A teacher is a second mother and the school is the second home for a child; which you folks prove it from time-to-time.
Words are not enough to convey our thanks to you dear Bharti Mam, Seema Mam and the entire team.
Keep-on pouring the values, zeal and new learnings in our kids!

Wish you all the best.

Thank you.

Dear Anita Ma’am,

I am falling short of words in appreciation of the brilliant show put up by students of Class V G during their PYP Exhibition.
Both, as a mentor and as a Parent I thought that the enthusiasm, skill and focus exhibited by all the children were awe-inspiring.
Their ideas and execution of the same was nothing short of a meticulously planned and managed event. They have under your illustrious guidance shown that they excel in all departments be it Research, Analysis, Planning, Administration and Execution with a smart sense of time management.
As a mentor, I observed very mature behaviour in all the groups. Sense of urgency when they were past their schedules, a sense of responsibility while writing their lines were particularly encouraging to see in kids their age.

I could feel the energy all around me, mentoring teachers Sita Pandey Ma’am, and Sumit sir particularly stood out while helping kids with bottlenecks. I haven’t met her but Drama ma’am also got special mentions from the kids helping them materialise their ideas.
I must congratulate you for providing such able guidance, support and direction to all the kids to put up a brilliant show with poise and confidence.
I must admit, on the first mentors meet when Seema Bhati Ma’am said that the event was going to be conceived and executed by students and students alone I was a little sceptical. All my scepticism vanished on my very first day as a mentor.

Children have truly shown maturity in the selection of topics and research much above their age.
Once again as always, I feel, as a Parent, we are privileged to be associated with the Scottish high family and will remain ever grateful to the school for providing learning space to my child where he can silhouette his skills and not feel restricted.
Anjaneya has shown immense progress in his writing skills over a period of time and his impromptu poem about the theme “Encouragement” written for the Exhibition was a yet another pleasant occasion for me.
Please convey my gratitude to Seema Bhati ma’am for being a force multiplier for all the kids. I have felt that being called by Seema Ma’am to her room for giving Well Done cards is a matter of great pride and encouragement for the kids. It only befits an able educator to command such respect from her pupil. Many Congratulations! To the whole team VG for putting up a brilliantly flawless show.

Many thanks from a grateful Parent.

Dear Seema Maam

I am writing to you to express my appreciation for the love, support and guidance that you and the teachers at Scottish High provide for my son.
I recently attended my Son’s FDP for class 1G and it was astounding. I must congratulate you and Poonam Maam for a spectacular show.
It’s really credible how you trained all the kids and how well organized it was. Every child had a role to play and was supported on every step. I am personally so touched that even when Agastya could not skate well he was helped by holding a hand to come on stage and be part of the class. I was really emotional and so thankful to you all for the same.

From the selection of Bhajan, to craft for parents and family pictures which some students displayed, the sports section and even the dance at the end – everything was so thoughtful.
Appreciate all your efforts to help our kids learn and grow.

I also want to mention about the overnight camp which the students attended. For Agastya, I believe it was the most memorable and fun-filled experience. He is more confident, independent and most important positively thrilled with this experience. Many thanks to Poonam Maam who not only made the trip secure for our Kids but with regular updates made us also live the moment.

So happy for Agastya to be part of Scottish High family.

Dear Madam,

It was nice fun-filled hour for us during the PYP Exhibition, the enthusiasm of your students was mind-boggling and what surprised me most is that every one of them was supporting each other during the skit or dance performance. The entire class was dancing or humming the same tune during each song or dance. It was delightful to see what I can describe as pure coopetition rather than competition among the kids’ something which we adults hard to achieve.

I am sure this will inculcate the sense of belonging and knowing that we all the connection even if we have separate individuality. A great job is done by you as it is you only who can provide this sense of belonging.

When we went to the medical infirmary to see Yahvi, at that point, she was already haggling the medical staff to let her go back to her classroom and her first point, of putting her case forward, was that Madam has done so much work with our group, I can not let her down.

Thank you a lot for bringing a sense of responsibility and belonging among the kids.

Hi Ma’am,

I have seen tremendous growth in the kids during the past year.
Rudraksha has grown really confident in his communication and is expressive and also he is becoming self-sufficient.
I expected him to be a little clingy or worries about being away from home but rather he was super excited and was enthusiastic about the entire preparation for the same.
We being parents were a little sad h.e we have full faith in the school and once again the same has been proven right.
We were constantly updated about the trip and the pictures from the trip were such a treat but the most wonderful part was the video message which was unexpected but it was such a heartwarming gesture. Thanks a lot for that.
After coming from the camp- Rudraksh has wonderful stories to share and yes he shared he wanted to stay for one more night for the camp. Thanks for putting in so much of effort to help grow our kids into resilient, self-sufficient, confident and well-behaved citizens.

Dear Ma’am, Greetings…
I am the mother of Maanya Verma, Nursery B.It was a huge pleasure to attend the FDP of Nursery B kids today. I am overwhelmed to see the kids perform so confidently. Each and every act was full of superb energy and smiles on all the faces. The coordination among the kids went so well. The dialogue delivery was just fantastic. I am so glad to see the kids speaking so well on mike. There was no stage fear seen in any kid.
I heartily appreciate your supervision and all the hard work put in by Ms Nalini andMs. Monika for this wonderful event. The entire units of the session were so well compiled and presented through these acts.
The efforts dedicated by activity teachers was clearly visible throughout the performance.
Even the SLC went so well. I was glad to see Maanya explaining everything so well that day. Must say, after visiting the classroom that HRTs have really worked hard in every corner of the class.
I feel so contented that Scottish was my ONLY choice for Maanya at the time of Pre-nursery. Today I feel proud to be a Scottish parent.
Thank you so much, ma’am, for keeping the patience to read this mail. Looking forward to many more years of great learning for my child.
Best wishes!
Warm regards,

Dr. Nidhi Katiyar – Mother- Maanya VermaNursery B

Hello Ma’am,
I am the mother of Akshara Bansal (student of class 1B). The morning of Tuesday was so refreshing that I feel its only fair to write this feedback.  We were welcomed with the soulful bhajan (achutam keshavam) which was quite an awesome choice! My daughter asked me about Shabri the same evening. I spent a good amount of time sharing stories of Krishna,  Meera, Shabri and Yashoda with her. The skit was well enacted by the class and Hindi riddles were fun! I was very happy with all the demos of various athletic art forms, especially yoga. The best part was that my daughter was having fun putting up the show. This can be possible only when the teachers help and encourage them. Every child got a chance to have an equal stage share which shows good planning by the teachers. I would like to appreciate all her teachers and esp her HRT Ms Rimpi for weaving the whole event beautifully. She showed much patience and understanding when during preps my daughter fell sick. It was my daughter’s first year in this city and your school. I would like to extend warm thanks to you and Ms Rimpi for helping her settle down.
Regards

I am Harpriya, mother of Krishang Taneja, Class 1-E. Yesterday, FDP was a hit show. It was amazing to see little kids dancing, acting and enjoying every bit of it. I am sure the credit goes to Bharti Ma’am for her sincere efforts. I am very confident that he will come up with flying colours from Class 1 under her guidance and I can see the change very well in him.
Also, I would like to thank you, other teachers, who keep motivating Krishang to perform in studies and extracurricular activities. I hope Scottish will continue to groom the kids and we are very appreciative of what you have accomplished and look forward to more achievements :)

Good morning School Coordinator and Director,

I have my both kids Aditya Arora (8A) and Muskaan Arora (5H) as part of SHIS Family. We have been associated with SHIS for approx. 10 years. I get amazed with few teachers and their passion.

My son is a teenager a sensitive stage as we all know and so are all his classmates.  I can completely understand how challenging it is for teachers to handle a class full of teenagers in an effective way. I wanted to share a note of appreciation for Divya Rawat (Class teacher 8A) for maintaining a perfect balance between being a teacher and a mentor. She is strict when needed and a good friend of kids at other times. Hat off to Divya Maam.

Thanks a lot to you all for having such passionate staff members. Have a great day.

Greeting of the day

This is to bring to your notice a noble deed done by a young student of Scottish High which goes in hand with the teachings of the school. My daughter, Ishya Rao, 6-H had painstakingly made a working model of Water Harvesting and Conservation for the science exhibition conducted in school. After the exhibition, rather than discarding it, she discussed with me if there were other options of using it fruitfully. In our endeavour, we learnt of a lady who is a cancer patient and is in dire need for funds. Ishya immediately agreed to put her model up for monetary benefits. I’m proud to say that it was sold within 4 hours with the help of her art teacher. She raised Rs 1500 for it which the lady received with a lot of gratitude.
A heartfelt thank you to Scottish High family for instilling the values of caring and empathy in our children, raising them to be good human beings.
A word of loving appreciation for Ms Sonia Jain, her science teacher who was instrumental in discussing and encouraging Ishya to not only come with an idea but also guiding her throughout the exhibition. Her words of encouragement meant a lot to Ishya prompting her to put in her best efforts.

Thank you to the entire SHIS family for your teachings of love and compassion

Regards,
Meenakshi

Attached below is the appeal for funds and appreciation message from the lady who helped auction the model, with Ishya during the exhibition.

Dear Lakshmi Mam,

Trust you are doing great! This is Pragya and Abhishek, parents of Aashvi Aggrawal (KG H). We are writing to you to express and share our excitement and gratitude we feel after having seen Aashvi’s and the full class performance in FDP conducted yesterday.

This FDP was an ‘Aha moment’ for us and was sheer bliss! Seeing a class of 25 kids all barely 5 years old, put up a flawlessly coordinated performance clearly demonstrates the kind of hard work and passion that has been put by you, Mukul sir, Bhuvnesh Sir and Poornima maam over past few days. We realize and appreciate that it must not have been easy. The Mime and Orchestra and Dance performance were innovative and a huge treat to watch.

Personally, for both of us, it was heartening to see what a long way has Aashvi come in this journey. She was a very different person – bursting with energy, excitement and fully confident in her performance. As you are well aware, our key concern areas on her developmental front have been her speech clarity and confidence – which both seemed to be put to rest in this FDP performance.

On a separate note, given we are in a reflective mode, we both wanted to thank you personally also on always having heard our concerns, giving us time to explain of priority areas we need your help on with Aashvi. Your guidance in finding solutions in our parenting journey has been supremely helpful and we really look forward to our interactions.

So, from the bottom of our hearts as parents, we thank you a lot for contributing immensely to making our child what she exuberates today.

P.S. – Will be great if you can share our feedback with Mukul sir, Bhuvnesh sir, Poornima Mam also as we don’t have their emails. She has indeed come a long way and developed a deep love for dance, music and yoga specifically – which is very very heartening for us!

My daughter Anoushka Kansal had been with Scottish High since last 8 years.

She has recently moved out of the school.

Wanted to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for shaping my child’s personality.

She is confident (thanks to the FDP and presentation opportunities), knowledgeable (thanks to the wonderful teachers) and compassionate (thanks for teaching her to respect and accept)

While all the teachers since Nursery has been great, two teachers, in particular, have been remarkable, Ms Priya Rakesh (Grade V class teacher) and Ms Sonia Jain (Grade VI class teacher).

Both have mentored Anoushka at a critical age and have given us (parents) appropriate and timely feedback.

Their teaching skills are undeniably exemplary. Many thanks to both.

Although it is a sad feeling to move our child out of school, we sometimes have to take such tough decisions.

Thank you once again!

Wishing the school and its teachers all the best.

Three Cheers to overall development

Respected School Coordinator and Director,

A very good morning. I wanted to share my hear felt appreciation for the efforts your staff puts to bring in overall development.  Both my kids (Aditya Arora(8A) and Muskaan Arora(5H)) are part of Scottish since beginning. It is a charm to see how they are balancing between studies and sports leading to overall development.

The girls football team is simply amazing. Lot of efforts being put by Rahul Sir. It is a charm to see him leading and putting efforts to bring girls on the ground and fine tune their skills. This shall instill lots of confidence and conflict handling capabilities in kids.

Muskaan is receiving her Kumon GOLd Trophy tomorrow, but she wants to miss it as she wants to ensure that she joins Saturday football match.  I have no words to thank Rahul Sir and the leaders of Scottish.

Heartfelt Thanks. We need more such mentors around to make our country and specially NCR full of confident girls to be ready to handle the world tomorrow.

Subject: Appreciation Notes to School for Gallery Walk

Dear Ma’am,

This mail is with regards to the Gallery Walk conducted by our child Ms. Vedika Bansal of Class V -E . Vedika has been in Scottish High since pre-nursery. Vedika for the first few years had a lot of problems settling in the school so much so that last 2 – 3 years we have been contemplating about changing the school too. But every time we have met with you we felt assured of progress and comfort.

This year has been a vital year in Vedika’s overall development. Not only has her confidence increased, the remarks we hear is that she has started participating, doing really well in most subjects,  taking interest in her studies and other activities too.  Her only fear left is that of Math’s and with Ms Rakesh’s help we are sure she will overcome that too and excel even in this subject like all other subjects.

We are grateful especially to Priya Rakesh Ma’am as she is nurturing Vedika to become better every day. This year’s Gallery walk was a clear reflection of Vedika being comfortable and absolutely confident of her class and teacher too. There was no hesitation to speak with Ms Rakesh or even discuss her progress.

We are extremely thankful to Ms Rakesh for the efforts she is putting in every child and as parents we can feel her hard work.  We are also grateful to her for giving Vedika the opportunity and platform to explore her capabilities.

Warm regards,

Dear Seema Ma’am,

Would like to put on record my experience at the Gallery Walk on 31stof August.

I was more than pleasantly surprised to witness my son, Aahaan Tripathi of Class 5 A take me through his learnings in the past few months. The confidence in his demeanor, the conviction in his communication and the clarity of his knowledge was simply superb.

The entire credit for the same goes to his class teacher and mentor Ms Reeta Kushwaha. The loving manner in which she has groomed and taught him the finer nuances of knowledge has not only evolved him cerebrally but also enhanced his budding personality. For him, she is his role model, something I am very proud of.

Thank you so very much for being such an invested custodian in my child’s life.

Dear Sanjay Sir, Pawan Sir and Nimisha,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for all the support to encourage Pratham to go for his summer School to DigiPen in Seattle, which is amongst the top 3 in the world as per current ranking.

Nimisha, you guided and steered Pratham’s interest towards such a versatile subject and I am glad he found his passion. From not a great grade in pre boards to an ‘A’ in finals and your motivation helped him gain confidence to pursue what he liked.

Sanjay Sir and Pawan sir, without your support and push, I wouldn’t probably have been able to gain confidence in sending him as he was to miss his ‘UT’  as well.

I am glad that we have mentors and teachers who see spark in a child and make that extra effort to guide them. Today, I see a different personality in Pratham. He is more assertive, confident and very clear in his thoughts.

He developed a game with his team at Digi Pen which is uploaded on youtube and also there website, sharing the links below.

Dear Sir/ Ma’am,

This mail is to share my appreciation for Ms Gurpreet Kaur, Class teacher of class X C in Scottish High. My daughter is her student since class IXth last year. I have been meeting her in various PTM’s and during home visits for the last nearly 2 years and felt that it was time to acknowledge the teachers who make a difference.

Ms Gurpreet is a teacher in the true sense, who looks after all the students in the class equally whether they are top rankers or average students. She has induced a love of ‘Mathematics’ which is her core subject in most of the students by her skilful teaching. In fact, despite the huge syllabus for Mathematics in class X, she has ensured that there are regular tests after each chapter which keeps the students on their toes and also helps them realize their mistake. But what is important is that post the tests she takes great pain to share the improvement areas with students and help them cover the gap.

In addition, being the class teacher, she ensures that we, the parents, are updated on all circulars, test status, etc. over and above the hard copies which are shared with the children. As a parent, I find her extremely approachable and easy to talk with on all matters related to my daughter and feel extremely satisfied by her prompt responses. The same feedback is shared by kids who find her easy to talk with and also approach her if they face any issue/ need support.

I would like to wish her all the best in her teaching profession and also hope Scottish High has more teachers like her.

While the work of some of the other good teachers is also appreciable, I just wanted to share my thoughts about Ms Gurpreet.

Dear August Leadership & Faculty of SHIS,

As the time of Board Exams for ISC is getting nearer, my Mindspace is filling up with reflections of past 12.5 years – that Dyuti has spent in SHIS – from a toddler entering in the year 2006 to a young & bright student in 2019 – ready to face the world.

The other day, while sharing the Graduation ceremony moments, she was very emotional with tears trickling down. At first, I brushed it off as a “part of a life” situation but was compelled by my inner self to reflect upon her last 12.5 years…..couldn’t stop myself to write this note to you all.

Thank You All…from bottom of our hearts for being The Most Important and Integral contributor in making Dyuti what she is today! Cant’ be more delighted as parents, about the decision that we took in 2006. The Platform, the Opportunities, the Challenges, the Environment and Most Importantly the EDUCATION given to her at SHIS have been deeply gratifying – we couldn’t have asked for more!

It all began in December of year 2006 – when we were on exploration visit to SHIS. After the tour of the school, we were asked if we would like to meet the Chairman of the school. YES..was the instant answer! That was when we were ushered to Cmdr. Saini’s Office………..AND THAT TRULY was THE GAME CHANGING Moment of our lives, Dyuti’s Life…!

Dr (Cmdr.) Saini Sir!…..not only you were as charismatic and diligent as you are today….you were very KIND to agree to take Dyuti Mid-Session in KG. Thank you Sir…for being instrumental in letting us take the Most Important decision of Dyuti’s Life – admitting her to SHIS. Always thought that I would tell you this in person sometime, but our respective works have not allowed this to happen.

Dear Mrs Goyal Ma’am..…..Thank you for being so kind and welcoming, ever so patient in listening to us on many occasions and keep Dyuti motivated all the time. Thank you for your guidance, friendship, and for your discipline!

Sanjay Sir…do not have words to thank you !…..You have been real ‘Friend in NEED’ to Us and to Dyuti…Open doors of your office to Dyuti and other students and to parents speak volumes of your welcoming nature. While writing this……I recall countless interactions with you on phone, mails and in person….when we discussed her issues related to academics or extra curriculars Or her career options and many more…..! You have been truly a guiding and motivating force for us!

Pooja Dawar Ma’am….thank you very much….for being instrumental in choices she has made for career. Today we stand as proud parent with Dyuti already having offers of Admission in three global universities including two from US.

Our sincere gratitude to Mrs Geeta Bedi who, besides being a great teacher, has helped and counselled Dyuti to come successfully, out of her middle school crisis.

Our gratitude to Mrs Akanksha Yadav – her Physics Teacher and Clan elder, Mrs Neha Tiwary, Mrs Ruma Jain, Mrs Monika Sobti, Mrs Spandita Majumder, Pawan Sir, Mrs Vandana Jaitley and all other teachers associated with Dyuti- they all have immensely contributed to shape up Dyuti. Thank you all!

A million thanks to Mr Vinod and Mr Vinay from the Bus team – who have safely carried Dyuti to & from School year after year ever since she was a toddler.

While Dyuti eventually moves out of school after the exam, teachings at SHIS shall remain. Thank you for the great work that SHIS is doing and the huge impact the school has made in Dyuti’s life and lives of all other students. Thank you for all your selfless sacrifices.

With best regards and Wishes

Dear Ma’am,
My husband and I just wanted to take a moment to thank Seema and Nalini from the bottom of our hearts for the love, encouragement and understanding they have given Rayna this past year.
As parents we leave our most precious possession (our babies) in the hands of the class teacher, it’s not easy to trust someone else with your kids but, Seema and Nalini demonstrated such caring and insight I never had a moments doubt that our little Rayna was in the safest hands.
They understood her shy and observant nature, never pushed her, only encouraged her. Under their guidance, Rayna flourished!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone.
Anindyo for making such a warm and friendly first impression.
Henna for being so helpful.
Seema ma’am for being so approachable.
The security for being so careful.
Scottish High was the only school we applied to-not only for its reputation but also because as we walked through its doors, we immediately felt that it was a school that walked the talk. And it’s valued was not plaques on a wall, it’s valued were actions that every single person within its walls demonstrated.
Thank you once again,
Best Regards,
Zareena Kennedy

Dear Seema & Nalini Ma’ams,

A big heartfelt THANK YOU to both of you for nurturing Reyansh (Nursery -A) into a confident boy and inspiring him to bring out his best. He has developed a very strong connection and association with Scottish High International School. He will cherish all the moments of fun and learning in class as well as outdoor activities like swimming, picnic, South Point Mall trip etc.

He adores both of you and will miss your guidance and mentoring in the next session. Please also share our gratitude for Poornima Ma’am, Mukul Sir and Bhuvnesh Sir. He enjoys their classes a lot and is looking forward to them in the next session too.

Wishing you all the best in the coming years and hope you continue to give love and direction to the little ones.

Dear Madam

Trust you are doing well. My son Irvaan Pilani is now in Grade 3H. I am writing to share a feedback on Ms Namita who was his HRT for Grade 2H. She has been extremely warm, affectionate, approachable for both Irvaan and myself. In terms of curriculum too, she was very methodical and particular throughout the year. Hoping the school maintains the same standards of teachers throughout.

I am writing to you today to thank Ms Hema for teaching a great class this year. She always makes dry subjects and serious knowledge interesting and fun, as per my child (Samaira) she loves taking her class as compared to other ad-hoc teachers. She has learnt so much in this academic year. Ms Hema has become her favourite teacher since she became her class teacher.
She not only teach in a different way to make class interested in learning, but she also understands students problems and helps them find the best way to solve.
I appreciate her very much for our child getting a great education at school.

Thank you, Ms Hema, for all your hard work.

Greetings!

We were thrilled to witness the FDP of grade 2G today (our first FDP in the auditorium) and we were stunned to see the confidence and enthusiasm of the children.

I really want to take this opportunity to thank Mansi Ma’am, who had mentioned in the first PTM that “its my responsibility that when your child goes from grade 2 to 3, he/she has not just grown in height. I am for overall growth”. She stood with her words!! I am extremely thankful to Mansi Ma’am for this FDP, where confidence and mic confort was just oozing out of every child.

Thank you too, for an amazing experience, and the hula hoop game!

Would like to thanks teachers of Nursery F Ms Tina and Ms Tanu along with the supporting team for the lovely program of FDP. It was very pleasing to see the children with so much Patience and Enthusiasm in each and everything they performed. Loved the way Aaliyah my daughter had come forward and said her lines confidently although she was a bit shy. Never seen her say her lines completely before in her younger grade at her previous school. She has definitely come a long way. Dear all,
It gives me immense pleasure in sharing my experience with Scottish High International School. My daughters Suhaani Thakur and Paavani Thakur recently got admitted in mid session. Their teachers, Ms Charu and Ms Shivani Gupta took so much care of my children and helped both of them cope up with their missed studies. The kids didn’t feel as if they are new to school thanks to the kind and loving care given by all their teachers.
Also, my younger daughter, Paavani of class 4-F recently went to a school trip to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Fatehpur Sikri. Her HRT, Ms Shivani Gupta along with other teachers took special care of all the kids. The parents were informed of all the important moves during the trip. It felt as if we are on the trip with the kids. The trip was well planned and executed. My daughter enjoyed this experience. I am happy with my decision of choosing Scottish High as the school for my kids.
Looking forward to an enjoyable and interesting learning journey of my children here.
Best wishes to all the teachers.

She turned every mistake into a learning opportunity for our shy kid. Her guidance has been influential and we know it will shape developing skills and habits as he moves into next steps of his schooling. We had noticed remarkable change in the way our child performed on stage and the confidence he is building day by day.

We are truly thakful to entire staff ( Bhuvnesh Sir, Mukul Sir, Poornima Mam) for their esteemed support and guidance for the students of KG-B.

Needless to say that this has not been achieved without the visionary learning roadmap showcased by yourself and SHIS management team.

As parents, we feel proud on how the kids are being made aware of relevant issues which our nation and society faces on day to day basis.   It is ,indeed, this awareness which will allow these kids to become responsible citizens and be the agent for change in this country and society.

Another important aspect of the program was how the parents were engaged in the themes which were in focus.  Their participation ensures that they are committed to these causes.

And the Scottish high team comprising of you, the home class tutor and the staff team should feel proud about this.

We are very pleased to inform you that my son Shalin Thusu who was studying in class 5G, SHIS in year 2017-18 has got very excellent marks in his Final Examination and done exceptionally well in extra-curricular activities and in sports. He scored highest marks in English and Mathematics besides scoring second highest marks in Hindi. I would like to put on record that you have really made great efforts to make him teach and practice solving Mathematical Problems and practice both written and verbal and conversational English. Special mention and appretiation is required to be placed on record for encouraging him for improving his Hindi, noting that he returned from Germany after 8 years and when he could barely speak Hindi, a year back. He was depressed and your guidance not only motivated Shalin but also made him to excel in Hindi.

I wish to mention, that you have not only taught Shalin but you have played the role of a mentor guiding him through the year, encouraging him and advising him to continuously inprove himself. I would also like to mention that the exhibition  this year was amazing and this was clearly reflected in great performances of the Children.

You have always breifed us on Shalin’s progress during PTM meetings and at all times.

I think you have set very high standards being a teacher. Your great efforts are highly appreciated and i have no words to thankyou.  Still i will give you a ‘standing ovation’.

Here, I would like to mention the name of Mrs. Sonia Jain the class teacher of class 6-F who is a teacher, a guide, a mentor and above all, a friend of her students.

Dear Principal,

We as parents of Reanna Malik studying in KG-C, really enjoyed the perfomance of all the kids in the FDP. It was an outstanding show organised by the staff and excellently displayed by the little ones.

It is a great platform for the kids to showcase their learnings. Also, it helps to overcome their stage fright. FDP is a better connect platform when it comes to exhibit their knowledge vis a vis the annual functions which is prepared on a larger scale.

Thank you and all the staff members for their continued support and trust in our child.

Regards!

They took their role sincerely and all children seemed to be happy with what they did.

Dear Ms. Seema,

Greetings!!!!

After every event/meeting/visit at Scottish High, I feel happy about choosing this school for my son, Rudrr Vynayak Bhatt.

Attending gallery walk today has been an incredible experience. It is a perfect way to make the parents enter into the world of learning and make them a part of the school’s offering to our kids.

I was delighted (as always) to see how nicely my son is taking in all the values his teachers are inculcating in him. The most important aspect that I’d like to mention is the independence of thoughts that kids are given. They are not only made to learn, but are made to think………. and act.

The tasks on writing upon a social causes close to your heart, or, taking the charge of family expenditure, set a brilliant example of experiential learning that these skids are put into.

My sincere thanks to Ms. Aruna, for beautifully getting out kids into this system of learning and evolving. Aruna mam explains, re-enforces and encourages Rudrr to bring out the best in him

Much appreciate the hard work and dedication of Rudrr’s teachers.

Thanks to your wonderful team of angles, who are making great citizens of tomorrow.

Have a lovely weekend!

On the eve of mother’s day, i was fortunate to witness the Monkey Business of the initial section of Scottish High . Being a mother i  always have mixed set of feelings before the function…excited…emotional and ofcourse eager to watch the little wonders perform. The money business this year was just amazing and i was totally spellbound to see the little dynamites perform with confidence, enthusiasm, grace and ofcourse with beautiful smiles on their faces. Their sparkling eyes were throughout  searching for their parent’s which clearly expresses their enthusiasm to prove how fabulous they are. Overall the show was a spectacular extravaganza and it was indeed a pleasure watching the kid’s showcasing their talents. I would like to thank and appreciate the dance trainers and the whole staff for their commendable efforts for training our little ones and for putting up  such a beautiful and splendid show. I would also like to thank varsha maam(kg D,teacher of my daughter Parisa Chopra ) for taking such good care of our kid’s and motivating them for giving their best. Parul Chopra KG D

Dear Ms Chauhan,

Greetings of the day.

With another academic year passing by for my child Aahana Handa, I would like to thank Scottish High International School especially the initial chapter team and more importantly the class tutors for all the support and kind guidance through out the year. Although I understand and realise that the feedback comes little late with we all getting busy with the beginning of another year for our kids. However, I would want to make a special mention of the whole hearted efforts put by both Ms Chugh and Ms Tanupreet in the journey of my child’s development as a better groomed highlander. Believe you me, the beautiful transition of Aahana was not possible without both the class tutors putting in special efforts. In fact, not only Aahana but we could experience the entire group of students transforming to a better lot in this last one year. Needless to mention the driving force of Scottish High work ethics and professionalism which was a feather in the cap. I whole heartedly wish both the class tutors and the entire initial chapter best of luck in all the future endeavours and hope to see the same enthusiasm year after year. 3 cheers to the entire Scottish team.

Hi Seema ma’am,

Through this mail, I would like to share feedback on Mansi ma’am, who was my son’s HRT for grade 2.

Mansi ma’am has been absolutely wonderful, developed really good relationships with all kids, knows each one in and out and was able to motivate them very well. My son absolutely adores her. In the last few days of grade 2, he kept asking if Mansi ma’am could continue to be her teacher for grade 3. I must add that Kavin likes his new grade 3 ma’am very much, but Mansi ma’am will continue to have a special place in his heart.

As I start my career as a teacher, I truly consider Mansi ma’am a role model in the way she handles children as well as partners with parents.

On one hand our daughter is moving from nursery to kg and we are extremely excited about the new session and her moving forward..
On the other hand, we are emotional about leaving her nursery class and her teachers.. Mannat was extremely lucky to be in nursery D with Smita ma’am and Tanu ma’am..She has gained and benefitted so much from both of them..She has become a confident, knowledgeable and independent girl under their teaching and guidance.. Both the teachers are the best and their combination is unique and wonderful..

Dear Ms. Seema Bhati,

Like all good things come to an end, this wonderful session of Grade IV D for my son Rudrr Vynayak Bhatt is ending today.

My heart floods with emotions when I write this mail to you. When I trust you with my only son, expectations certainly go up by leaps and bounds. Studies, academics, syllabus is a part of school and I do appreciate all teachers for doing their jobs perfectly.

But as I believe, inculcating good values and building a character of a child is of utmost importance. And I feel so happy telling you that under the strong, motivating and loving guardianship of Ms. Vandana Jaitley, Rudrr is surely on the right path. In the past 1 year, we have witnessed endless positive developments in our son. Be it aspiring to work for his community to leading groups in his class, Rudrr has been given the space to learn, make mistakes and excel.

Vandana Mam has been the driving force behind Rudrr’s extraordinary performances in class, FDP, excursions and all possible areas that he touched upon this year. His aspiration of becoming the future Prime Misnister of India, is so seriously taken by Vandana Mam that Rudrr has actually started living his dream. His interest in politics has gone up and he shows this sense of responsibility towards his nation. So when I forget to take bills of my purchase, he tells me I am contributing to the Black Money in the country!!!!!!

In one of his speeches, Rudrr said that God cannot be everywhere so he created MOTHERS, and mothers cannot come to school with us so he created TEACHERS.

‘A Thank you’ would not be enough to express my gratitude to Ms. Vandana. I deeply owe this to her and I’m sure Vandana mam would continue her excellent work of making every child shine and grow.

Best wishes!!!!

I thank you for helping kids put such a magnificent show for their FDP. It was a larger than life event. I could so easily re-cap the whole year of my child in just few minutes. The most impeccable part was that you emphasised on each child in his/her own different way and showcasing so many talents of them, which we as as parents must not also have been aware of.

Unlikely to mention, I have seen Hiral grow like a budding child. It was a pleasure to see her not only perform, but enjoy her performances.

My special thanks to Rupa m’am for always giving the encouraging parenting skills to us. The parenting workshop actually enlightened me towards a better parent.

Though with all smiles, yet I am ending up with a nostalgia of missing the Initial’s department and its warmth bestowed towards my child as she is graduating to another level and Anu maam, you shall be greatly missed for your precision in inculcating every minute skill in Hiral.

I shall make sure Hiral lives upto your teachings and guidance!

I would like to thank you and the school for providing a caring and loveable environment to our children. My daughter Tanvi is a student of grade VII. Yesterday due to her mistake a peer student Tarana got hurt. But the way Sanjay Sir handled the situation is really praiseworthy. He personally took Tarana to the Medical room and with full compassion looked after her and brought her back to the class. In these situations generally teachers punish the students but actually he consoled Tanvi and told that “don’t worry it’s a part of school life and you didn’t do it deliberately”.

In the evening too he personally called and rather than complaining about her mistake he advised me to look after Tanvi as she has Math exam tomorrow. I am really touched with the concern and compassion showed by him. Even Tarana’s mother told me that he personally ensured that Tarana is fine and informed them in a very calm way rather than creating a panic.

Tanvi told me before every exam Sir visits every class and asks the students about the syllabus completion or any concern they have about the exams and made them very comfortable.

We as parents are very happy and thank you for providing such a caring, loveable and safe environment to our children. We are looking forward for more loveable moment s in future at Scottish High.

Would love to add my two bits here as well! :)
It was a fabulous experience – made us feel like two very proud parents who’ve achieved a huge milestone. Ruaan’s confidence level and articulation skills since joining Scottish have climbed up so tremendously that without any exception – all our family and friends comment on it. Usually everyone’s very surprised to know he’s recently turned only 4!

Extremely thoughtful event – with high attention to detail about everything. Have asked so many of my friends about their schools doing something like this – haven’t heard of any so far!

Kudos to the whole team for thinking up and executing such a beautiful morning for all of us parents.

Looking forward to many more of these moments together,

My ward, Daiwik Wadhwa is studying in class Nursey – C in your esteem school and I just wanted to share my recent observations in my child’s behavior which were significantly noticeable and are listed below:
1.    Has shown lot of improvement in picking up English words with correct pronunciation
2.    Expects his parents and family members to converse in English
3.    Tries to become independent. Incidents like changing his clothes & wearing shoes himself, eating himself & even server food to his elders, etc. He even wants to cook at home and make sandwiches (like they are demonstrated in class)
4.    Tries to correlate his habits at home with what is being taught in school.
5.    The most surprising incident was he explained me not to wear shorts during morning walk as “chicken-guinea” and “dengue” mosquitoes can bite and one can become sick J. Daiwik was able to spell these diseases names properly.

There are many more such incidents and I would like to deeply thank his class teacher – Chandana Mam for being such an effective teacher and is able to carry out holistic development of my child.

Dear Madam,

I would like to congratulate you and the entire team of Scottish High International for putting up a spectacular annual day show.

The entire show was very captivating, right from the impressive entry and the plan of events. Ruchi had an important meeting to attend that day and had thought of taking an early exit, but the brilliant performance by the children made me see them till the very end. The enthusiasm was truly depicted in the children performance as they were glowing with joy to perform.

Through the annual school report which was presented, we also got the opportunity to see how well the school has been performing in various fields. I would request your good self to kindly arrange to send email me a copy of the annual school report which has been presented.

We hope to keep watching such amazing performance year on year and thank all the staff for the hard-work and dedication.

Best regards

Ruchi & Biswajit

Dear Ma’am,

Greetings!!

I write today to place my heartiest Congratulations to you and your efficient team for a successful and a very well organised Annual Sports Day ! It was a pleasure to sit through the entire event and observe the proficiency and passion with which each teacher conducted the event and managed the children.

The Fun races was a novel idea and the implementation was completely out of box thinking.Everything from the props to the ambience was excellent .
Scottish High was the only school I had applied for my son Tatvam’s admission and its an honour for him to be groomed under your able guidance. As I am an Admission and Marketing Head with a school in Gurgaon , I can completely vouch for the positive word of mouth and brand image that your school has in the market and specially I have been hearing a lot of appreciation about the Initial’s team and I can personaaly see why .

Kudos to you and your team ! Keep up the good work !!

Subject: Annual Sports Day - KG, Nov 4, 2015

Dear Mam,

Greetings…

I attended Annual Sports Day of Class KG on Nov 4, 2015. It was prodigious to be there. Fabulous display of activities, and the enthusiasm with which the little champs participated in the competitions. Cheers to all moms who took part in the fun race. Reassuring by all the parents/grandparents while the show was on. Prodigious Hospitality by the school management – perfect sitting arrangements, hot tea/coffee with snacks for the guests , milk for the little champions, as usual empowering short speech by the chairman. I was enjoying and feeling great to be part of gala event.
And I was TOUCHED with almost tears in my eyes, when during the price distribution to the winner of the competition, Initial School Principal was invited to give away the medals by Master of Ceremony,  Initial School Principal instead called upon the grandparents present at the function to do the honours. It demonstrates the humbleness, values & morals the school leadership carries and grooming our little champs.
I walked away with satisfaction and peace of mind that our champions are in the safe hands.

Subject: appreciation of the performance of the school choir

Dear Director Ma’am,

Good morning ! This has reference to the event ” In memory of Lal Bahadur Shastri” , which was organized in Epicentre , Gurgaon on October 24, 2015, in which the school choir had performed in a manner, which deserves a great deal of appreciation and applause. The children rendered the melodious song with perfect synchronization and harmony,  under the able guidance of Sachin Sir and enthralled the audience with their superb performance . It was one performance, which stood out from the rest of those performances, put up by the other schools. We, as parents of Susheel G. Shenoy, studying in grade V A, who was part of the choir, would like to acknowledge and thank Sachin Sir and the school, for the tremendous and sincere efforts taken to train and motivate the  handpicked children  talented in the field of Indian music, to bring out their best in this event.  May the children continue to sing in harmony and bring glory to the school.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Beena G Shenoy

Dear Ma’am,
I would like to compliment the school and class teacher Ms Shubra for the level of work presented in the Front Desk Programme on the 15th of October. I was mesmerised to see the students and how well they performed.  The students were so confident and well rehearsed. The way the students were encouraged to showcase their talents was completely amazing and I felt so proud.  I am proud of my child studies at Scottish High.
Thank you so much for always encouraging my child, under the guidance of such wonderful mentors like yourself I trust my child will always shine.

Subject: Word of Appreciation for Parul Aggrawal Ma'am

Dear Ms Seema Bhati,
I am writing this note to place on record our appreciation for Mrs Parul Aggarwal HRT of class I – C.
Parul Ma’am has been the most important reason for Anjaneya to look forward to go to school every day. She is a true mentor and a source of inspiration for him.
Her passion for teaching and engaging with children as young as 6 year old is manifest in Anjaneya’s behaviour and grasp of knowledge from each one of his units so far.
One incident  particularly moved me as a parent, warrants a mention here.
On day at a local market we happened to meet an elderly neighbor, Anjaneya greeted him by quietly touching his feet. I was pleasantly surprised to witness that moment because touching feet is not a part of our Kashmiri culture and obviously he did not learn it at home.
On asking, Anjaneya told that “Parul Ma’am has taught us to touch elder’s feet”.
On one of the field trips to our home, got a chance to  observe Parul Ma’am interacting with kids and I must mention as a parent it was a very satisfying experience.

She addresses children’ curiosity with utmost care and compassion, children never shy from asking questions of her for the fear of reprimand.

Even the way she reprimands brings about positive change and realization in the kids rather than fear and depression.
Would like to congratulate Scottish High School for having such a Compassionate Mentor and Guide for my child.

Regards,
Jyoti Kaul
