The MFL department celebrated Fiesta Nacional de España, the Spanish National Day on 12th October 2022, Wednesday. The students from Grade 4 – 12 participated exuberantly in the different activities designed for them throughout the week from 10th October to 14th October. All the students learning Spanish language, wore small Spanish flags indicating their ardor of accepting and appreciating the new culture.
The Primary students made posters of attires of the flamenco dance form and shared beautiful facts through posters in the target language along with bookmark and card making activity. The students from grades VI-VIII made bookmarks and posters on the themes like famous food, famous monuments, National parade and Spanish culture depicting what Spanish language means to them. The students of grades IX – XII prepared various Spanish activities and presented them in the class. The students actively took part in all the activities and while learning more about the language and the culture at the same time, their love for continuing Spanish language was eminent.
