Our Highlanders from Grade XII IBDP participated in The Goals Project 2024, a 6-week program which brought together over 5,000 schools and classrooms from 118 countries to examine the UN Sustainable Development Goals and their ability to take action through shared experience and use of innovative technologies and practices. Students have taken one Global Goal, SDG 8- Decent work and economic growth and worked with students from other countries as they considered both local and global implications.
The Goals Project 2024 has provided a platform to brainstorm, discuss, connect virtually with schools around the globe not only to exchange ideas on the country’s economic growth but also provided golden opportunity to explore other cultures, traditions, languages and much more.
We organized a Virtual Student Exchange Program with A B Evergreen School, Nigeria on 1st March 2024. The project targeted important skills like Empathy, real-world Problem-Solving, Collaboration and Critical Thinking.
