The Grade 9 and 11 students of Scottish High International School embarked on an enriching camp to Mukteshwar-Nainital and Bharatpur and Ranthambore, respectively combining educational insights with adventure. The excursion included a serene visit to the Mukteshwar Dham and Waterfall Excursion.
The Highlanders admired the beautiful waterfall, capturing moments of nature’s beauty. The visit to the iconic Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur, made the students explore diverse avian species and learned about wetland ecosystems. In Ranthambore, they experienced the thrill of a wildlife safari, observing majestic tigers and other fauna in their natural habitat. The trip also included interactive sessions on conservation, nature walks, and team-building activities, fostering a deeper appreciation for biodiversity and collaborative learning. The visit to the Ranthambore Fort provided a historical perspective and appreciation for Indian heritage.
Additionally, students visited the Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History, which offered an engaging insight into the region’s natural and cultural history, as well as the famous Ganesh Temple, where they explored its spiritual significance and architectural beauty.
The adventurous team building activities were a resounding success amongst the children which included Zip Line, Burma Bridge, Fly Cycling and much more. The camp was a well-rounded experience, blending academic enrichment with personal growth and environmental awareness.
