Highlander Prisha Abrol has made Scottish High proud by being selected as one of the awardees of the 2025 Global Youth Action Fund! Her project, in partnership with the International Baccalaureate’s Festival of Hope, is one of 19 projects chosen from various schools across India.
This honor is particularly significant given that 314 students from 110 projects across 43 countries participated in the IB 2025 Global Youth Action initiative. These young changemakers are striving to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges with innovative, community-driven solutions.
Prisha’s project, titled “Poly Citra Bricks: An Eco-friendly Construction Solution,” aims to transform environmental waste into sustainable and affordable building materials. With support from the IB Global Youth Action Fund, the project plans to advance beyond the prototype stage and begin real-world applications. The goal is to implement pilot programs in rural areas of India, where access to safe and affordable housing remains a challenge.
Congratulations to Prisha for her contributions to learning with innovation!
