It is best to encounter a battle with a calm approach, a great sense of confidence and a feeling of equal empowerment. Because often times, the mental battle begins prior to any physical confrontation. The self-awareness of inner calm and action can be achieved by going through a disciplined physical and mental training.
Recently, at SHIS, we hosted a very special workshop on ‘Women Self Defense on Women Safety’ as part of the Government of India’s initiated program, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. This campaign has been introduced by three eminent groups to further the cause of empowering women – in collaboration with the District Administration of Gurgaon along with the internationally renowned ‘Red Cross Society’ humanitarian organization and the Open Hand Combat on Women/Girl Self-Defense.
The program was conducted by Mr. Maula and Mr. Osho Kalia in our world-class multi-utility auditorium for girls, classes VI and onwards.
