A group of 6 Highlanders visited The American Centre, this month, to attend a talk hosted by MUN Café. The objective of this meeting, MUN Cafe’s first dialogue, was to make students interact with diplomats and understand the importance of Diplomacy in the 21st century.
The highlight of the event was the meeting between Highlanders and Mr. Jonathan Kessler, Director of the North India Office of the US embassy. Mr. Kessler has devoted 30 years on myriad global assignments, including those in many European and South-Asian countries.
In an increasingly connected world, the growth of the social web and shared economy have lent critical importance to Policy Making and International Relations. Initiatives such as these help highlanders acquire the analytical skills and perspective required to build successful careers in the field.
