 Appreciation for PYP exhibition –

Dearest Anita Ma’am,

Many congratulations on the fantastic performance by the children during the PYP exhibition. It was such a pleasure to be captivated by their composure, confidence, conviction and knowledge; all on clear display. Collaborating and synchronising songs or parts of dialogues across a group becomes quite challenging in the virtual environment where internet speeds lead to delays and add to the pressure and worry about aligning with each other perfectly. However, that concern was not at all shown by the children who continued calmly through any lags or parents joining the call midway with audio unmuted. The focus on the presentation at hand was truly remarkable. It showed the rigor of their preparation and practice.

We enjoyed the skit, the poem, stories and dialogues the children wrote themselves. We were absolutely mesmerised by Jiya’s confident speech delivery with great expression and voice modulation. Thanks also to Sita Ma’am for the Hindi skit reviews and the Spanish sir for the Spanish poem reviews. The preparatory group calls, discussions, even disagreements on what should be covered or shortened was a delight to observe as a parent watching the goings-on from the sidelines for a couple of weeks. This is where real learning happens; collaborating with other children, putting their own points across, debating, and having to consider others’ ideas as well. It’s not just the final day presentation but all the work that led to this exhibition that is a cause for celebration and growth of these children.

I must appreciate your calls with the group to critique and appreciate and keep the children alert and on their toes in the best way possible. Thank you for being such a great motivator and fantastic teacher.

Gratefully yours,

Gurpreet Minhas(Jiya Singh’s mother)

Dear ma’am

This is in reference to the PYP Exhibition held last Friday.
Our heartiest congratulations to all the teachers and students for conducting this exhibition successfully.
The various pieces of hard work and dedication of all the students and teachers in putting this together were evident. Kids have shown an immense level of enthusiasm and confidence in their performances.
The entire idea of showcasing PYP concepts as an exhibition was awesome. Other than gaining deep knowledge on the given concepts and topics, students learned essential attributes like better coordination, teamwork, time management, synchronization and a sense of ownership. Poster making, Detailed PYP wall, creative slogans, dialogues writing and a lot more activities tremendously enhanced students’ creative writing skills.
It was an immense pleasure to see our son Avyan’s enthusiasm and sense of responsibility to give his best on each part of it.
His growth mindset and interest in new learnings over these years shows your great effort, support, and love.
Huge applause for you and all the teachers for all the endless efforts in making this exhibition a great success!
Ma’am, you are making a huge impact in our lives by giving the best teachings to our kids and making them feel as a family. We wish Avyan will always be blessed with teachers like you.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for giving children an opportunity to explore and showcase their talent and learning.

Dear Ma’am

Was very happy and proud to see my ward, along with his group of kids, perform in the PYP exhibition held on 11th Feb 2022.
Could see their hard work put into it, and found them very confident, addressing a large audience.
The entire concept and execution were amazingly good. This will certainly help children in the development of various skills.
At last, I would like to sincerely thank teachers, mentors for the immense support, guidance and endless hours of practice with children.
Special mention of Madhulika Ma’am and Seeta Ma’am for leading the same and ensuring outstanding delivery by her children.

Big thanks !! Shweta Lakhanpal

Dear Mam,
We would like to express our sincere Heartfelt Gratitude to You, the school authorities, and the Kids.
We were speechless, after witnessing the flawless performance of our little kids, who have now grown up as future young professionals.
We would say commendable teamwork, and the combined efforts put in by both you and the kids are definitely worth mentioning.
Picking up such strong and sensitive topics, and speaking with so much conviction at this young age, is just amazing to see.
We are so proud to see those sparkling eyes, who are now ready to take on the bigger challenges and grow even more knowledgeable and smarter.

Thanks All. Parents of Nishka Sharma- 5G – Deepika and Shakti

Dear Ma’am,

I wish to share my deep appreciation for the PYP conducted by students of class 5G under your able guidance and support!
The session conducted by students on ‘Gender Equality was simply mesmerising! We could feel that students just did not memorise their lines or did a role play but they meant each and every word they spoke! For us, this was the biggest takeaway of this program, where students were seeded with this very important thought of gender equality!
This will surely help our next generation in achieving this goal! We are so reassured of our children in Scottish high and proud of their learning growth! This is possible only because Scottish High has teachers and mentors like yourself! Can’t thank you enough for all your support and guidance for our children, especially in such trying times. We never felt that they were studying online. You were always around them! Thank you once again!

Regards – Arun Rai (Atharva Rai’s Parent)

Dear Mam,

Thank you for all your efforts during the preparation of PYP. I really liked the way, you were focusing on each and every kid. We are very happy to see our daughter’s ( Manyata’s) progress. Online classes are
taken very nicely by you, ma’am. Online PYP presentations are an innovative way to make the learning more interesting, and I appreciate your continued efforts for it. Due to your hard work, our child is getting an education in a safe and comfortable environment at home, during the pandemic.

Dear maam

We would like to congratulate the staff and students of grade 5G for the great show put up during the PYP exhibition held on 11 Feb. We are extremely proud of the amazing teamwork, patience, perseverance and hard work shown by both the teachers as well as students both during and after the exhibition. We saw the amount of effort put up by our children for the past few months under the noble guidance of Ms Anita Bhalla ma’am. she has been a great guide and mentor for our kids.
We are really glad that the children did not let the pandemic droop their spirits and they showed amazing coordination despite the odds. this has surely taught them to be survivors and winners in their future and learnt a real-life lesson for life that COME WHAT MAY ..NEVER GIVE UP…
Thank you so much for all the guidance maam.

Best Regards Dr. Guninder and Capt. M.S.Aulakh

Dear Seema ma’am,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the school, the HRT for grade V-D – Ms. Vijayalakshmi Rajan ma’am, the subject teachers – Ms. Sapna Dhiman ma’am, Ms. Shivangi Gupta ma’am and Mr. Sumit Gupta sir for helping the children maximize their potential and showcase their work during the PYP exhibition.

The PYP exhibition was outstanding, in spite of the limitations due to the Pandemic, the children collaborated using all the tools available and worked relentlessly to present their work and research. They had lengthy discussions among their groups, with the teachers – they had their own set of brainstorming, discussions, even disagreements but in all they worked together as a single unit and respected each other’s inputs, thoughts and opinions. The qualities they learnt as beyond what can be taught via a textbook; all in all a wonderful learning for them all.

It was indeed a proud moment to see the confidence and pride with which the children presented the solutions to the SDG goals. The whole presentation using the PYP wall, the skits, the poems, the songs, the slogans and the role-plays was extremely captivating.

Thank you all for the guidance and support provided to the children.

Looking forward to Kiaan’s many more successful years at school. Wish you all the best for your future endeavours.

With Kind Regards, Pallvi Kapoor (Mother of Kiaan Kapoor, V-D)

Dear Seema ma’am and the young kids of Grade 5A

Your performance in the PYP exhibition has been outstanding. It all starts with the leadership displayed by you Seema ma’am in rallying the kids to work together as a cohesive unit despite the limitations of a virtual world. The kids themselves have proven to be masters of innovation, creativity and have displayed great teamwork. The cherry on top was the topic that showcased the material with a purpose.

As the saying goes “the child is the father of the man”, this kind of teamwork and creativity is set to create a generation of young leaders who would first and foremost know how to work together and then nothing is impossible.

Once again, thanks for your efforts and glad we could get to view the efforts.

Regards Preeti and Rohan Talwar – Parents of Mishka Talwar
