An awareness campaign for Breast Cancer-was organized for the lady teachers and staff at Scottish High. The campaign was a collaborative initiative with the NGO ‘Yes to life’, which is doing revolutionary work in spreading awareness about breast cancer and saving lives by sensitizing and educating millions on prevention and early diagnosis.
In a freewheeling session at Scottish High, Yes to Life Co-founder- Ms Madhu Narain, a breast cancer warrior shared her experiences and noteworthy contributions to supporting cancer patients. Accompanied by Volunteer Ms Mona Chawla, the caregiver to the oncology patients in Medanta, a counsellor and a happiness coach, the session dwelled comprehensively on the three pillars of hope- Screen, Sensitize and Support.
Addressing numerous queries and questions, the campaign proved to be a vital reference for teachers and staff in alleviating their doubts.
