In alignment with the theme “Planet vs. Plastics” for Earth Day 2024, Highlanders demonstrated their unwavering commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. Led by School Principal Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva and Primary School Director Mrs. Seema Bhati, students of Grade XI DP planted saplings of Ashoka (Saraca asoca), a perennial, evergreen tree valued for its ornamental flowers and medicinal values in the school premises.
The Earth Day celebrations at Scottish High extended beyond tree planting, encompassing a range of eco-friendly initiatives and activities. From raising awareness about the perils of plastic pollution to engaging in educational discussions, quizzes, and creative projects, our students showcased their dedication to protecting our planet and fostering a sustainable future.
