A session was organized for current Grade XII and XI DP on how they must plan their next six months prior to the beginning of university applications. The session was conducted by a renowned counsellor Mr. Parikshit Dhanda who focused mainly on the facts and figures about the universities the students are going to target, preparations required to get in those, emphasis on mock test and past year papers, having hands on experience with the career path of their choice through internships and the importance of extensive research about the course/university. Mr. Parikshit in his unique humorous style made the session and the atmosphere light as there was a continuous two way transfer of information through a fruitful interaction. The anecdotes were all based on statistical data which he very beautifully presented and it enabled the Highlanders to get a clear path and picture ahead. The entire session was so gripping and informative that the highlanders were truly motivated and moved. Students demanded more of such sessions in future so that they get guidance in making the right decision for their careers.
