The Inter-Clan Poem Recitation Competition for Grade 8 students was organized by the MFL department, in the MPH on 9th October, 2024. Students competed in their respective languages: French, German and Spanish. Participants showcased their recitation skills with great enthusiasm. The primary objective of this competition was to enhance the speaking abilities of the students. Reciting poems requires not only a good command of language but also the skill to convey emotions effectively. Through this competition, students had the opportunity to refine their articulation and pronunciation, which will undoubtedly benefit them in their future academic pursuits and personal lives. This competition helped them in developing self-confidence, communication and public speaking skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
After an enjoyable summer break, the Highlanders returned to school full of energy. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn were evident as they arrived with their backpacks and settled back to their respective desks.
