Dear Ms Seema Bhati,
I am writing this note to place on record our appreciation for Mrs Parul Aggarwal HRT of class I – C.
Parul Ma’am has been the most important reason for Anjaneya to look forward to go to school every day. She is a true mentor and a source of inspiration for him.
Her passion for teaching and engaging with children as young as 6 year old is manifest in Anjaneya’s behaviour and grasp of knowledge from each one of his units so far.
One incident particularly moved me as a parent, warrants a mention here.
On day at a local market we happened to meet an elderly neighbor, Anjaneya greeted him by quietly touching his feet. I was pleasantly surprised to witness that moment because touching feet is not a part of our Kashmiri culture and obviously he did not learn it at home.
On asking, Anjaneya told that “Parul Ma’am has taught us to touch elder’s feet”.
On one of the field trips to our home, got a chance to observe Parul Ma’am interacting with kids and I must mention as a parent it was a very satisfying experience.
She addresses children’ curiosity with utmost care and compassion, children never shy from asking questions of her for the fear of reprimand.
Even the way she reprimands brings about positive change and realization in the kids rather than fear and depression.
Would like to congratulate Scottish High School for having such a Compassionate Mentor and Guide for my child.
Regards,
Jyoti Kaul
