National Heritage Day of Spain National Heritage Day of Spain is celebrated on October 12 every year. It presents a one-of-a-kind opportunity for all the Spanish speaking students of grades IV to XII who look forward to a week swarming with fun-filled events and activities. Marking the occasion, a special video on ‘What is the National Day of Spain, why is it celebrated and how is it celebrated in the capital city of Madrid’ was presented to the students. Similarly, various Spanish sessions were carried out to highlight the richness of the Spanish Culture. The students assessed their Hispanic cultural knowledge through interesting quizzes on Quizizz and Kahoot. The icing on the cake! A special dance on the traditional Spanish tunes by the Highlanders of the Primary grades further added to the vibrant cultural menu of the event. With a virtual background of Spanish Flag waving throughout, the event set a perfect stage for all the young Spanish speaking aspirants of Scottish High.
