What a start to the weekend it was, with around 50 children participating in a technical football session with @ebsm.official. Mr. Benny is a former General Manager of AIFF, founder of I League club Indian Arrows and the first Indian to work with a 1st division French club. Mr. Nag is professional football player with over 10+ years of experience in Europe, he is also the first Indian to sign for a 3rd division club in Austria.
The pair spent 1.5 hours training the children, post which a parent orientation explaining their workings at their centres of excellence in Europe took place. Here, the Indian players scouted and selected are integrated into the academic and football divisions of Germany or France and further mentored in their journey of becoming professional football players in Europe or India.
The children and parents were thrilled to hear about the upcoming summer camp in Germany with Scottish High. Stay tuned for more!
Mr. Eric Benny said , It was wonderful, despite most children being in the winter break, we had quite a turnout. That just shows how much passion there is.
We’d like to thank Dr. Cdr. Saini for his shared enthusiasm, he has clearly been able to instil the importance and value of sport in the school. We would also like to thank Dr. Sachdeva , Mrs Seema Bhati and the Scottish High leadership team for their warm reception and setting up a great platform for this event.
