They meticulously delved into the act’s fundamental objectives and recent amendments. The teachers were sensitized about their pivotal role in preventing and addressing cases of sexual abuse, including fostering a supportive environment for affected children. The sessions also discussed the importance of prioritizing teacher wellbeing and strategies to nurture their own mental, emotional, and physical health.
The sessions were productive, providing teachers with invaluable insights into the intricacies of the POCSO Act and equipping them with effective strategies for personal wellbeing and professional growth.
