The Grade XI students attended a four-day camp to Shimla–Chail, designed to offer learning beyond the classroom through adventure, exploration, and group bonding. The trip was well-organised, and students participated with enthusiasm.
Upon arrival in Chail, students settled into the resort and enjoyed evening snacks, followed by a relaxed bonfire and dinner. The next morning was dedicated to adventure activities, where students participated in trekking, zip lining, and rock climbing, all conducted under professional supervision. The day concluded with a fun-filled DJ night and dinner. During the excursion to Mall Road and Lakkar Bazaar in Shimla, students had the opportunity to explore local handicrafts, woollen clothing, and sample authentic Himachali cuisine, which added a rich cultural dimension to the trip. After returning to the resort in Chail, they enjoyed another lively DJ evening, followed by dinner by the fireplace. On the final day, after breakfast and check-out at 8:30 AM, the group proceeded towards Panchkula for lunch before continuing the journey back to school. Regular updates were shared with parents throughout the trip.
Overall, the camp was smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Students demonstrated responsible behaviour and had a memorable learning experience. Photos from the trip are attached with this report.
