
An insightful session led by the School Counsellor, Dr. Neha Singh Maurya, was organised for the senior school teachers on writing effective Letters of Recommendation (LoRs) to strengthen students’ college applications.
Dr. Neha emphasized the importance of recommendations that are honest, unbiased, and evidence-based. She highlighted the need for LoRs to be well-structured, supported with specific examples, and aligned with predicted grades. She also explained the significance of predicted grades in the application process. Teachers were guided on differentiating between co-curricular, extra-curricular, and super curricular activities to represent students’ achievements accurately.
The session reaffirmed the vital role of teachers in supporting students’ aspirations with integrity and precision.
