Students Divit Chopra and Yash Moitra participated in the UArizona Global Champion of a Sustainable Planet Challenge with their idea ‘Project Ummeed’. Project Ummeed seeks to provide cheap & renewable electricity to millions of villagers in India through their novel Enhanced Cathodic Substrate Fuel Cell. They qualified to the Top 8 from 327 Top Schools in India. They then went on to come 3rd in the Finals, beating schools like Shri Ram School Aravali, CHIREC International School and Step by Step School Noida. They have won a Trophy on honour to the school, an application fee waiver for the University of Arizona, swag bags and Certificates of Merit.
